We knew we were going to arrive after the office closed and called ahead to make arrangements. We were charged $50 and told our key would be inside a lockbox and inside an envelope with our name on it. When we arrived we were able to open the lockbox but there wasnt an envelope with our name. We called the lady who runs the office who we had previously made the arrangements with and she came and took care of everything within 20 minutes. The resort is older and its age is showing somewhat, but our two bedroom apartment was clean and had wifi. The tvs all ran off of roku, we never could get the roku working in the master bedroom. The resort isnt far from a gas station and several restaurants and Walmart was less than 10 miles away. The drive to Biloxi was around 30 min.
This was a awesome place very quiet fully equipped with dishes and complimentary items for kitchen and real wash clothes and bathing towels not like the usual hotels, I’ll definitely be coming back and also a two bedroom was more than enough for 6 peopleRooms: 5/5
Used the Golf course for a fundraising tournament. The staff was very helpful and easy to work with. The course was beautifully maintained.Service: 5/5
This is like staying at your grandma's double wide for the weekend. It was nice enough, but everything is dated and they obviously struggle to maintain it. The main living area has ac vents in the floor. TV reception was grainy at all times. Wifi was horrible. None of our 6 devices would stay connected more than 10min. When we finally got ahold of the staff they said they would reset internet, but problem never fixed. Dead roach in dishwasher and microwave. Pots still dirty from last guest. We had to clean most items before we could cook or eat. 2 patio chairs broken and unusable. Vertical slats missing from second story back porch railing. Seal on front door broken. Wood from the front porch steps broken. I had to remove several large splinters 6-8"to keep kids from stabbing themselves. Only provides 4 sets of towels for room that sleeps 6. Would not provide extra towels per their posted policy. Of all the issues I think this was the most aggrevating because it is easily fixed. I guess they expect everyone to share towels. Like I said, grandma's double wide. The pool area was ok, but had some chips in it. We picked out several rocks from the pool. No staff over labor day weekend to solve any issues.
I’ve seen some reviews about the place being outdated and a ghost town. I personally enjoyed it. Where we stayed, the living room/ kitchen was very modern and new looking. I loved the high ceilings. The kitchen doesn’t come with coffee for the coffee maker or much stuff but that’s common with every suite I’ve stayed at in other states. The rooms were cozy and clean, I felt safe letting my baby walk around, however the slats on the stairs were spaced out a bit too much so just be careful. Coming from New York, I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and the view.
Old and a/C does not work at times. eill freeze up. Internet is poor. No cable tv. roqu streaming with your account.
TV is Roku wasn't working right but not there for TV over all nice stayRooms: 5/5
This condo is the best. My first time in one. It makes this vacation even better. The place is so nice. The trees around the condo are cool to look at. Great views out the many windows. It has a golf course next to it and putt putt for the family. Tennis courts, a pool, basketball court and shuffle board on the property. Very clean and maintained. I would love to come back.
DO NOT STAY HERE!!! There’s a reason it’s so cheap!!!! This place is horrifically disgusting. My family got respiratory infections after being there for a couple of days. The place is falling apart. Every wall, floor, chair, bed and every single area is disgusting and dirty. After walking on the carpet for an hour, the bottom of our socks were BLACK. NOT CHILD FRIENDLY! This is a two story condo, and the slats on the railing is way too far apart. A full sized adult could fit between the railing. A child could easily get through and fall. We had to go buy gates to prevent any accidents. There is no maid service. You have to clean your condo and take your trash to the dumpster. The dumpster is way too far from the condo. Also, it’s the most disgustingly terrifying dumpster I’ve ever seen in my life. I literally vomited when I took my trash out. You can only get fresh towels 3 days out of the week, and that doesn’t include weekends. I could go on and on about all of the things wrong about this place. It needs to be condemned and demolished.
This place was a pleasant surprise. After reading some of the reviews I wasn't sure what we were getting into. We got here 2 weeks after hurricane Ida went through and 2 days after hurricane Nicholas, wasn't sure if the place was still standing or under water. We drove by the entrance because the sign said Hickory Hills Golf, no signs with the name of the resort. A sign with the resorts name on it would be helpful. The road into the resort was a little bumpy and needed to be fixed but that could be from all the rain they had. The condo was very nice and clean, very roomy. Sure it could use a little updating but it was fine. Needs a few more kitchen items like dish towels and soap, so bring your own. The swimming pool was nice and the area very quiet. Need a car to get around. Staff very friendly and we will be back.
