The food was as good as everyone says. Burger was done right. Chile was delicious and fish was tasty. BUT there was no milk. No fries. And the service was terrible. Should have known when I saw the sign in front that said help wanted. Kids did have fun playing with the jukebox. Salad was crisp but underwhelming.
Best burger in Stevens Point! Jalapeno Bacon and Black & Blue burgers were out of this world. The Edgy Wedgy is teen approved too! If you've not been here yet, make it a point to get here...soon!! Excellent prices, service, dinner options. Update 26 July 2019 - yes, we were here again! This time I enjoyed the Cajun Catfish, complete with a tasty salad and the best grilled bread ever! Seasoning on the fish was exceptional and the catfish itself was not "fishy" as this type of fish can sometimes be. The Albacore Gouda Tuna Melt was a hit as was the Edgy Veggie burger! Always a treat to come here for dinner and we totally enjoyed ourselves, adding a couple of ice cream sundaes to the fun - try the KitKat one, it's really scrumptious!
Warm atmosphere. Very personable staff. Great food. I had a Reuben sandwich! It was awesome.
Awesome food at reasonable prices. Everything here is made with fresh ingredients. The staff is very friendly too!
Best burgers in Point so far! Friendly staff. Cozy atmosphere. I highly recommend.
I love this cute little local gem. -friendly staff, and unique dishes. I'm still craving that KimChi Reuben. After dining in many times I stopped in for carryout this weekend. I was getting a cold and was craving that home cooked nourishment, but with more unique flavors than I could have done. I actually pulled into Copps then realized that Watchmens is right behind Copps, with tasty home cooking. It was just what my sick self needed.
We stopped in for homemade brownies and ice cream. Awesome! Waitress was very friendly. The owner took a little warming up. Have heard great things about the main dishes, but haven't tried yet. Good beer selection and great atmosphere.
I was excited to try this place, heard lots of good things about it. We can start out with the pros of this restaurant , I liked that they had hanging menus all over. Different items on different walls, made me feel I had to look everywhere, which to me was unique. Now the food was just ok, I got the soup with roasted pepper and sausage. The soup was bland, and If you told me there was roasted pepper in it I would of never guessed. We were told it came with sour cream, but when we got our cup there was no sour cream. We asked about it and she told us it only came with the bowl. That would of been nice to know when we ordered the cup. I got a burger, now seeing everyone was talking about how they put their own twist on the food, I was excited. What I got was a bland over done burger. The burger lacked salt and pepper, my fried onions were very bland as well. My wife got the Blue Cheese burger, and hers was done medium, it was juicy and they used huge pieces of blue cheese. So take it for what it's worth, I wasn't overly impressed, the one thing I did enjoy was the side salad that came with my burger.
The burgers were pretty good service was not good at all. We got seated and 2 other tables that got seated after us got waited on first and then of course got their food. My boyfriend asked for a Miller High Life the have only craft beers. He asked what would be like a Miller and our waitress said "I have no idea I don't drink beer"
Great service & local beer selection. Limited but creative menu - best burgers we've had in awhile! Shared an old fashioned turtle sundae for dessert. Definitely will be coming back again!
