The West New York Shul is a shul (synagogue) and the center of Jewish life for the NJ communities of West New York, Guttenberg, North Bergen and Weehawken.
Founded in 1909 as "The Talmud Torah of West New York and Guttenberg" also known as "Congregation Shaare Zedek" and as "The West New York Jewish Community Center", over 100 years later The West New York Shul continues to serve the New Jersey Jewish communities of West New York, Guttenberg, North Bergen and Weehawken.
One of the last New Jersey historic grand old shuls still in its original use, it's copper dome is a landmark in the West New York skyline.
