Since 1962, The White Plains Outdoor Arts Festival has organized and promoted an annual fine arts and crafts fair on the first weekend of June.
The festival is held annually the weekend after Memorial Day, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. This year, the festival will be on June 4 and 5, 2016. Admission is free. Highlights include one-of-a-kind art and crafts or sale, a display of scholarship winners' artwork, a free childrens' art workshop, and an al fresco food court.
The White Plains Outdoor Arts Festival is a not-for-profit organization, founded for the purpose of raising college scholarship funds for selected White Plains High School graduating seniors, who will go on to pursue education in arts at the college level.
