If you're looking for an upscale place to enjoy a drink with a friend, check out this cozy spot! With a bar downstairs, plenty of tables on both floors, as well as comfy, plush seating upstairs, you won't feel crowded. I tried the calamari with Thai chili sauce. It would have been better with about half as much sauce mainly because it is overly sweet. The place was a bit busy and there were only two servers, which is probably why my water glass didn't get refilled until I asked.
Elegant, Upscale, Chic decor and most romantic atmosphere. The menu selections are superb, and the wine list did not disappoint. We have readily added The Wine Loft Bar to our top favorites list.
The BEST wine selection and amazing tapas. This bar is close to our house and we come very often. When the weather is nice - the patio is the place to be. Also the pint nights are great to try some new beer and keep the glasses. Looking forward to coming back soon.
Live music some nights. Wine is always good. Very hip atmosphere. The food is good, but take your wallet because by the time you buy good wine and a couple of appetizers, it's easy to drop $50. Really great outdoor patio. I would go again, but would plan on eating dinner somewhere else.
I went there Saturday night and no one was even there. We got a $32 bottle of wine... which you can actually buy for $12.99 at a store. I looked online before going and I saw how awesome the cheese plates looked with a variety of cheeses, crackers, fruits, nuts, etc. We got a cheese plate and we only got 2 different types of cheese and they put a ton of peppers and jam on it? The cheese wasn't very good and we didn't eat the peppers because no one at the table liked them. The cheese plate wasn't what I'd call a cheese plate. The waitress wasn't very nice and didn't make eye contact with us..... every time she left our table she went to the bar and started eating gummy bears or something with another employee. We spent over $50 on a bottle of average wine and a few crackers. I was actually really excited to check this place out for awhile but at least I now know never to go back.
It's a beautiful, smoke free place to listen to music. Acoustics are awesome. Staff were all very friendly. Prices are high and more comfortable seating is needed or I'd give 5 stars.
Maybe I'm spoiled by my normal spots in downtown Tulsa, but I found the signature cocktails lacking in creativity. The cocktail supplies were also lacking preventing most deviations from the cocktail listno fresh mint for instance. I guess you should stick with the wine here. I should say that I visited on a Thursday and the venue did seem really cool. I don't feel that it followed through on my visit though.
I have had very good experiences at the Wine Loft, but I was recently disappointed with their service at their New Year's Eve Prohibition Hollywood Glam party. Regular Non-VIP Tickets were $80 per couple. They were advertised to include a buffet and one signature drink and one champagne toast. This sounded great knowing the Wine Loft's reputation for good tapas and the Wine Loft Bistro's good menu. We invited friends from out of town. They too bought a couples ticket for $80. The event opened at 8. The Buffet line opened at 9. When got thru the line and we arrived at the buffet by 9:30, they were out of most foods. The "buffet" was actually just hors de oeuvres, but not the good normally served at the Wine loft. It was bar style appetizers like veggies and dip, bruschetta and wings. This would have been 0k there was any left. What struck me was that everyone there bought tickets, so they knew how many people would be attending. Running out of food was poor planning. If they had advertised the food as light appetizers, we wouldn't have expected a buffet. This would have all been ok except that the band wasn't very good. We thought it was an 80's cover band. All we heard was country. We decided to go home by 10:15. I suggested that we had food, drinks and music at my house. My friends and I had a good time dressing up, and our night wasn't ruined. We will be back to eat at the restaurant, but we didn't feel that we got $160 worth out of our experience. We would have stayed and continued to buy drinks if the band were better and if we had a decent amount of snacks or more accurate expectations.
So disappointing! I ordered the calamari appetizer and it was literally a very small "hand full", cold and not good at all. Over all, we had a really bad experience today for many reasons and have tried to call and discuss, but the phone is disconnected. I do not recommend this place at all!
I love the winelofts happy hour tapas especially the shrimp & grits and also the mussel dish. Fridays are the best at 8 the band plays and duringvthsummer the outside patio and games are a great way to relax and mingle.
