The Woods Campground is a private, members-only, clothing optional alternative campground in Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains. We cater to gay and lesbian clientele 18 years of age or older, providing a secluded getaway destination unlike any other.

Description

This membership-only LGBT, clothing optional campground, exclusively for the 18-and-older crowd, is located on 160 private acres with streams, four acre lake, and spacious camp sites.

I want to start this off by saying i NEVER write reviews, but everybody needs to know about this place. I was offered to be stolen away for the night and agreed on the terms i didn't want to know where we were going and what we were doing, and i ended up here. This campground is nothing short of magical, i don't think I've experienced freedom and happiness like this in a very, very long time. The pool and the lake are BEAUTIFUL, it is so very clean and the staff is AMAZING. 10/10 the best place to make new friends and forget life a little. We just left and are planning our next trip very soon, thank you SO much

Love this resort  as part of the staff I can say that it is like a glamping wonderland full of genuine people and activities for all to enjoy! The owners are the most wonderful people I have ever been employed with and I truly am grateful for the experience! We strive to make it an enjoyable experience filled with positive energy and comforting vibes for everyone! Thank you to all who come to enjoy the campground and we appreciate every moment! Thank you !!

Went their for illuminations, invited by a friend. It was great, people are very friendly! Many of the people were from NYC. Although its a gay campsite there were also very few women around. Drinks were cheap, food wasn't exactly. I'd come back again. Only star off is cause while the attendees are multicultural the music and culture of the place wasn't. Would of liked to see more inclusion in that sense.

Had a great day at The Woods. The pool was immensely popular, full of beautiful men. Surrounded by a good sound system powered by good DJs. Couldn't wait to dance. Hanging by the huge bonfire was surreal being toasted in the light and dark of the evening. Good times and good company.

Went here this past week as I have heard great things. Wasn’t sure what to expect but they actually had activities which made meeting ppl easier. Had real fun with the night life and found some really BIG connections. Huge experience and great atmosphere.

This was our first time going there. We went as a couple with some friends who had been there before. I'm not really a big camping person because I don't particularly like bugs or nature much, but it really was a great experience. Bathrooms were very clean. Staff was super friendly. Amazing time at the pool during the day and the club and our campfire at night. Bonfire was incredible and so nice to socialize. Food was above average. Not super fancy it's a camping resort after all! but everything we ate was good. All of the other guests were very friendly and welcoming. Having been to a number of other nudist places, people are generally very friendly when they have no clothes. But here we noticed everyone was extra friendly. Even the ones that are full-time residents were very welcoming and kind. There was truly a no judgment attitude. Majority of the guests identified as male and we were two of maybe a handful of people not identifying as male. But even so everyone was friendly and welcoming. We had a great experience and would definitely go back! Looking forward to next summer.

Labor Day 2022 Brilliant!! My husbear and I met at the Woods in May of 2014 , and had a Fanominal time then; and even MORE enjoyable now.  The extended Woods family including staff such as Dennis , Joe , Sam and Ron were personable and professional from beginning to the end of our stay.  The woods as a whole sure know how to entertain their extended family visiting every week, The cast of the shows, the Broadway Boys, and the contestants we're / are amazing. The Labor Day show and Miss Woods Pageants we're brilliant to boot     My partner and I hadn't been to The Woods in five years due to life, and let us tell you about the seemingly unlimited changes The Woods have made.  From the New Check in area which blows your mind not walking right in to the front desk anymore, New Large Shop with so much to offer , New Stage & Entertainment area, New Cabins , The New Showers and Bathrooms.  The Woods Has Infinitely Invested Into Their Brilliant Blend Of A Brand, We Have Not Seen This At Any Other Campground.  Best Regards In All Of Your Future Endeavors. Let me begin by saying I have done myself an injustice by not coming here sooner. The Woods Camping Resort is honestly the only place I want to vacation from now on. I went during the scheduled event "Bear  vacation week" into "Bears II" and all I can say is wow! Everyone I met while camping made me feel welcomed. The grounds are beautiful, the campsites are spacious, the bathhouses are spotless, and the staff are incredibly friendly!! I honestly didn't want to leave. They had fun events each night like karaoke, a luau, a drag show, and 2 dance parties. I cannot stress this enough, do yourself a favor and plan a trip here you will not regret it!

The customer service is quality here. Michael at the front desk was wonderful and very helpful. The campground is so nice. I had such a wonderful time. I highly recommend it.

This was my first year going to The Woods Campground. Every weekend I went was a little different with activities, themes, competitions, shows, parties, and of course the great outdoors. Looking forward to seeing y'all next year.
