“For all who have been there…wounded by death, we see healing in the very act of helping…”
The Wounded Healers’ Bereavement Support Group, Inc. was founded in 1989 for the Finger Lakes area by Chris Lloyd, LCSW-R and Jeannette Berretta, MSN, CNS (both Certified Thanatologists) to provide education and support in the grieving process. It has fulfilled this mission in a variety of contexts, from as personal as one-on-one counseling to addressing the needs of entire institutions coping with the death of a student, a staff member or a co-worker.
