The Yard Stop Garden Center

My wife owns a landscaping company and she buys most of her plants at Yard Stop Garden Center. They are always so nice! The price is reasonable and the plants look amazing.

SO much better than Lowes or HD! Not just the pricing which is pretty low but for great quality, they also really know what they’re talking about. We’ve been a few times now and everyone has been great each time, but yesterday we needed HELP. Trina stopped smack in the middle of what she was doing to help us pick out two perfect palms. I’ve never installed anything that size before so she also gave us some great pointers. For any head honchos reading this- I promise she quoted us the delivery/installation package but she could tell we were set on DIY so she wasn’t pushy about it thanks again Trina!. Moral of the story is we have 9/10 of our backyard to finish by October and I’d rather wait for Yard Stop to restock something than step foot in Lowes garden center ever again.

Stopped in while I was in the area and the young lady at the check out was extremely helpful stopped what she was doing to assist me in getting a specific plant I was searching for as a gift for my wife. Also the lady she called over to help went above and beyond to help me. Most certainly will be returning when I have more time and in the area to purchase other plants. Called Yard Stop 2 1/2 weeks ago for an estimate on pavers and a pergola. Was told estimator would be in touch with in 2 days. Received call from estimator on day 4 and he set up appt for last Friday at 430. He did not show nor call to reschedule appointment. Today, one week later from estimation appointment I called Yard Stop and spoke with Sandy to share my experience in hopes to go directly to the source with my disappointment. When I expressed what I have written above and told her I was unhappy she hung up on me. I don’t give one star reviews lightly and I always go to the company first for many reasons can contribute to a situation and I prefer to give the benefit of the doubt. This is a 3 strike one star review, poor communication, lack of respect, poor customer service! Apparently Yard Stop does not need customers and does not realize with out customers they would not have a business.

One thing I like about this place is that they are very low-key about sales. Some people might wish for more attention, but I like to be left alone to freely wander their large acreage of beautiful plants.

Great selection of plants. Affordable prices. Rebecca was amazing! She is very knowledgeable about the different plants, and she took the time to help me find exactly what I was looking for.

Decent selection, fairly priced, and customer service is on point. The holy grail of customer service there is a gentleman named Andre. This guy was a plant textbook and a garden designer all rolled into one. I showed him a picture of my customers flower bed and told him a few characteristics I was looking for and before I knew it I was on a golf cart being driven around the place like it's his own personal backyard cause he knew where everything was. I left there that day feeling really confident that this flower bed install was going to look amazing. I basically turned his design into an estimate and made notes on so many tips. I was more than satisfied with my experience, my customer is satisfied with the plan, and I'm grateful for The Yard Stop and their EXCELLENT customer service.

Stopped in at this garden center while visiting my parents in Leesburg. Great selection of plants and lawn decorations. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Bought two metal bird sculptures for my parent's front yard. They love them. Give this place a visit before heading to those two other big box stores

We had someone come out and give us a quote for installing some rocks, a few plants and 2 fruit trees last fall. Part way through the rock installation, they informed me it would be almost triple the price because the guy measured wrong or didn't include everything. Since we were part way through putting it in, we ended up just doing one of the areas for the rocks, which still cost double the original quote that was supposed to do 3 areas. One of the fruit trees died over the winter and I asked about getting a replacement and they want me to pay 50% of the already high price. Makes more sense for me to go buy the $50 one at Lowe's to replace it with. Definitely do not recommend.

It is a beautiful place and we'll stocked. That being said, there is no one to assist you. Period, no one. There was a lady running the register, she has zero personality or zero desire to speak to me. I was looking for a large lime tree with $500 in cash in my pocket. I just needed help with the varieties, I left with my money and no tree.
