I’ve been a member for years, since before the Zoo opened their doors. While I’ve seen the good, and the bad. I can honestly say the new manager is doing everything she can do to bring the gym back to being the best around. We needed a deadlift jack as the Manchester location was the only one without one. She ordered it same day, we had it a few days later. When an issue is brought to her attention she takes care of it. Cleanliness has been an issue but since the new crew has come in, they are constantly cleaning, and the gym is a lot cleaner. The child care is great- all the staff is amazing with the kids. My kids love going, and hate to leave. The community is one of the best I’ve seen in a gym. There’s support everywhere you look.If you need a gym, look no further the Zoo is it!
The place is great for all types of training! The staff is super friendly is diligent about being involved with their customers fitness goals and aspirations. The manager Nicky has made the place fun to attend and makes sure people’s needs are met! She ordered a delift bar for deadlifts shortly after a couple of members mentioned the annoyance of deloading without one. Overall I’ve enjoyed this gym and will continue to train here for as long as I can -jorge
The current staff at the zoo is in my opinion the best overall staff that has been there since the beginning. The gym is always clean, bathrooms are always maintained, and the staff always takes time to greet me and talk to me as they are amongst the friendliest they've ever had there. You would be hard pressed to find a better staff in any gym anywhere
Met with Marc today and had a great experience! I decided to keep him and we’ll be meeting every week. He set reasonable goals for my workout and was able to push me the perfect amount! He’s easy to work with and super helpful. I look forward to getting into a routine :
Just signed up for personal training with Marc at The Zoo. Kendall and I are definitely ready for a change and we're committed to keeping with it to be a healthier duo. I'm really glad we got to meet with him today, I really trust that he has our best interests in mind and I feel very comfortable working with him and his staff to achieve my goals. I'm excited to be back at it tomorrow. Thank you so much for making this process simple and for your time today.
I’m a powerlifter and come here when I am unable to go to my coach’s gym, and say it definitely passes the test! Clean, solid equipment, and great staff. Definitely recommend if you want a good gym for a solid price! :
I used to work there and now I am a member. I have met the owners and have been to many of the locations. The Manchester location is special because it is 1 mile from my home and it was the first gym I signed up for when I first started. I became friends with alot of people. Now, here is the downfall, you will run into some characters just like anywhere. Just put in the headphones and focus on you and your friends. It has turf, free weights, and ninja warrior equipment downstairs.
Been coming here for years, loved it. Watched it go downhill, always dirty, tons of missing or broken things, started going to other locations. Happily it has turned back to the inviting, sparkly clean gym it used to be. Wishing the hip abductor machine could get fixed tho!! Thanks to new manager Nicole!!
Always a warm welcome when showing up. In the last few weeks the gym has been cleaner more organized and an overall warmer environment where needs and concerns are addressed and real changes can be seen! Very happy with this gym
Joined this gym today and had my first appointment with personal trainer. Met with Marc who did an amazing job educating me on the science of muscle building for a healthy body! Cannot wait to start seeing results.
