Theatre in the Mountains provides theatrical opportunities for children and adults in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
Theatre in the Mountains provides theatrical opportunities for children and adults throughout the year. Main stage performances are held in the Loma Prieta Community Foundation/CT English Middle School Gym, which gets transformed into a beautiful theatre space, complete with 20' curtains surrounding the audience, risers for audience viewing and a lobby area. There is also an outdoor amphitheater that provides the opportunity to do other performances in the summertime.
We also run TIMPAC, a summer conservatory program for youth aged 10-18, as well as an adult-oriented production.
Volunteers are the heart and soul of this organization. We have a dedicated group of volunteers that assist with the productions of the Stars to Be Program at Loma Prieta Elementary School (1st and 2nd Grade Production as well as a 3rd - 5th Grade Production) and the Theatre Program at CT English Middle School.
Our wide base of volunteer support help us to sustain the program. Volunteers participate in all aspects of our productions, including overall management, scheduling, handling critical production staff assignments, and providing the needed manpower to set up our multi-purpose facility as a theatre for each production.
