Manual Lymphatic Massage helps with detoxification and is especially beneficial for anyone who has undergone major surgery. Since the body's lymphatic system is one of its primary waste-removal systems and plays a large role in the body's immune system, it is imperative that it functions properly or toxins can build up in the body's tissues. Edema can also result from harm to the delicate lymphatic vessels, since the lymphatic system is responsible for clearing this excess fluid away. Any invasive surgery can damage these lymph vessels and nodes, compromising the body's ability to cleanse itself. This can lead to infection or even further disease. To avoid this problem, lymphatic massage - a very light-touch, enjoyable, rhythmic massage - manually stimulates the lymph vessels to circulate lymphatic fluid and helps move fluid past damaged vessels or nodes. This work is essential for those who have had lymph nodes removed (as with breast cancer) or who have had major abdominal surgeries (70% of lymph nodes are in the abdomen).

Deep Tissue massage, combined with myofacial release and trigger-point therapy, can be a very effective therapy for balancing the body's musculoskeletal systems. Working to realign muscular imbalances and areas of increased tension, deep tissue therapy helps to return balanced movement, reducing pain and increasing functionality.

Bowen therapy is a minimal-contact therapy that encourages the body to release its tension and "reset" itself. Bowen is very effective for those with fibromyalgia or those with constant pain who find normal massage painful.

Reflexology is a traditional modality in which reflex points on the feet, hands and ears are gently and rhythmically worked to produce total-body relaxation. It is effective by itself or mixed with other forms of bodywork.

Pregnancy (Prenatal and Postnatal) Massage is a wonderful treat for any woman doing the work of bearing a precious one! Tired ligaments and overworked muscles always appreciate a little break... how much more so when there is no daily break from the extra stress on a woman's body! Using side-lying and semi-recumbant massage techniques, pregnancy massage allows a woman to relax and de-stress. [A doctor's note indicating no contraindications for massage therapy is required before the first treatment.]

Raindrop Therapy can be done on its own or incorporated into other treatments. It is especially beneficial when combined with manual lymphatic massage. Using the highest quality (Therapeutic grade) essential oils, Raindrop therapy helps the body fight infection, increase immune function, lower inflammation, reduce stress, and increase well-being. Traditional Raindrop therapy oils are typically used, although other oils can be substituted depending on the client's condition and desired benefits.
