Thermal Breast Imaging
We understand that thermal imaging is not recognized as the gold standard of care in breast imaging.
However, it is recognized by the FDA as an acceptable adjunctive imaging technique in assessing the risk of developing a breast pathology 5 – 8 years before it can be seen on a mammogram.
All readers and women alike, please be aware that:
1. Thermography is not a replacement for screening mammography
2. [Thermography] should not be used by itself to diagnose breast cancer.
3. [Thermography] is NOT a substitute for NOR is it superior to mammography
4. Thermography devices have been cleared by the FDA for use as an adjunct, or additional, tool for detecting breast cancer.

We believe in providing information that empowers women to make informed decisions about their health and well being. We added this therapy as an adjunct to mammography to do just that!
Wouldn't it be nice to know if there are functional changes in your breasts before you find a lump?
