The best sand volleyball facility in Texas. The sand is deep, all ages can play, and everyone is friendly. If the grill is open; come hungry. The food is amazing. They also have a bar if you want a snack, coffee, or a drink. They have seating areas to watch volleyball or tv. They also have a giant 10' tv!
What a place! Great courts, great atmosphere! Parking during absolute peak hours can be a tiny problem sometimes but that is the only downside i can think of
I didn’t play volleyball but I came here to see my friends that were playing and it’s a pretty neat place. The bathroom is SO clean and they have so many refreshers like feminine hygiene products, lotion, and more! And they have a variety of drinks to cool down with. You can also bring your dog on a leash!
NICE, clean restrooms and the staff was great. This is the place to go if you're gonna play volleyball in Houston.
Had a great time, really awesome environment! Went to watch my fiancé play championships which his team WONwas able to bring my teenage son and dog. Great expierence!!!
Go to spot for competitive beach volleyball in Houston 2s and 4s. None of the other spots in Houston are like it. Wouldn't recommend for casual/recreational players though unless you're reserving a court. Tends to get really busy on Friday nights for their open play as well
Sand courts are in very good condition and the sand is good quality. The indoor seating is minimal but there is plenty of covered outdoor seating. Plenty of space there for kids and adults even the restrooms are big, good for changing clothes. We had Dominos delivery, worked out great.
Open play is great! Plenty of courts
A little oasis in the city!! Good vibes only, nice beer selection, and light bites as well as super clean bathrooms!!
This is the best place in Houston to play sand volleyball. They have private showers, plenty of courts with consistently good sand and nets, and everyone knows where it is. I also like that their courts are adjustable between 2s and 4s several places only have 2s lines. You'll also find open play or leagues most days of the week. The thing I don't like is that their league quality is so inconsistent. Some of it is unavoidable because it's not all directly run by Third Coast, but even within leagues where they have rules to avoid sandbagging the rules are never enforced. Normally I wouldn't care, except your ability to stay in leagues in dependent on your post-season standings, which means that if your opponent brought in a ringer for playoffs you might lose your place in the league the following season. That said, Third Coast is still my favorite place to play volleyball in Houston. It's volleyball-forward, whereas other places are more about a bar experience.
