Had a great time at the Thirsty Beaver. I love the outdoor dining and the welcoming family atmosphere. The food is delicious and servings are generous. Two people with a couple of cold ones ran about $50.00 with tip. Try the taco salad!
Great new spot in Westerly. They just opened this week so they are working out the kinks. Friday night was very busy but worth the wait for the food. Buffalo chicken salad was very good. Wings were nicely seasoned. Bar staff was totally professional and friendly, as was our server. We're looking forward to going back soon. Pieces were very reasonable. Dinner with drinks and tip still came to under $100
Nice spot to enjoy a good meal in a relaxed atmosphere. The staff was very nice, and me and my wife were greeted as we came in and left. The food was fresh and delicious. Will definitely go back and do recommend this place.
Born and raised in Cranston, it was a weird experience drinking outside in the middle of the day on Atwood Avenue. I'm not sure I recommend the outside seating. I wanted cider, but the cider section of the menu didn't have one cider listed. The hard seltzer was good. I didn't like the appetizers we ordered either. The nachos were burnt and lacked toppings. And the other stuff didn't appeal to me. I wouldn't go back.
At best. Food was okay. Staffing was non existent and yes I am aware of limited applicants. But probably the most egregious was staff abandoning their positions around 11pm to dance to jukebox for 10 minutes. This wouldn't be as bad except that the staff also would skip any music purchased by customers.
I went there on a wednesday night. They had karaoke going on. It was later maybe 10:00 pm I sat at the bar when server asked me what I wanted to drink I said, can I look at the menu for food she said unfortunately we are only serving drinks now. I said oh, too bad and kind of smiled, but had a disappointment look on my face. she said I can get you something like a pizza. I said sure because that actually sounded pretty good. I appreciated the fact that she did that. and she really seems concerned that I was let down at first. lol she even asked are you happy now? lol it was cool of her . Pizza was actually very good. It was on the thinner side which I like and kind of crispy. Had a lot of cheese and pepperoni on. It was a little on the oily side but I like it like that. so I sat at the bar and watched karaoke. Not afraid to sing Staff came by and said if I was not going to finish it let him know and he would get a box for it. They also asked a few times if I ever needed anything and how everything was. the woman at the bar was actually very personable, so was the staff. so I sat and at the bar with my pizza while listening to younger people sing. Stopping here was a last second thought because I just left a comedy show and didn’t feel like heading home and wanted to kill some time. Good place nice atmosphere no complaints
Might as well go to Applebee's. You'll get the same quality of food and service but cheaper. Possibly even better. The beer and drink menu is fantastic though.
Woulda got 5 stars but they don't have tallboys... Left me thirsty
This is a covid 19 takeout review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. I ordered some chili and a 295 burger. The chili was ok, but not very warm. The burger was also OK, nothing over the top but pretty good flavor. The waffle fries were decent with a flavoring added similar to, but not as strong as Popeyes. On a scale from from 0-10 I would rate this 7.2.
I came with a group of 5 and our services was excellent and the food was great. There were more than enough televisions to watch both hockey and basketball without twisting your neck. The beer menu was also excellent
