This is a hidden gem. Nestled on a side street out of the hustle and bustle of Main Street in Mt Airy, NC. This is a great place to come and enjoy some great beer or wine. Couple that with some of the best pizza I’ve eaten in a long time. The beer and wine selections are plentiful. There is a great area outside to sit with friends and enjoy the company. Staff was very helpful and friendly. There are also couches and comfortable seating areas inside, if that’s more your style. Prices are reasonable and fair for the quality you’re receiving. I would strongly recommend this to anyone.
Beer was great and so was the pizza. Staff and owner were extremely friendly and helpful. Hope to go back!
We stayed in Mt Airy recently and this was some of the best food we ate on our trip. The food we got was delicious! The Scandinavian tray was unique and refreshing on a hot day. The artisan pizza crust was thin and perfectly crispy. It’s worth stopping by if you’re in the area.
The vibe here is so laid back and the beers and pizza are the best. I wouldnt go anywhere else after a long day riding the Blue Ridge roads.
Flat and flavorless beer with mediocre food. The service was slow on the food and without smiles for the pour. I go out to be part of a community and this, like the beer, was flat. Lots of crust without toppings.
The personal pizzas are delicious! Very kind staff, the red sangria is more on the sweeter side which I definitely liked! just wish they had a little more finger food to choose from but besides that definitely recommend!
Met a great, helpful, happy, and friendly staff here in Mount Airy. Seemed like all patrons were enjoying the atmosphere and the food. We brought the dog and sat outside. Wasn’t too bad since it’s mostly covered. The pizzas are just the right size to share add another protein to “The Goat”—we loved it. We were just passing through but if we’re ever in the area it’s worth a detour from the Interstate to visit and give Thirsty Souls a try. The craft beers are true to form.
Great beer and pizza! Relaxed atmosphere that had lounge and table seating, a few TVs, a gaming system. Loved the vibe. Staff was super friendly. I highly recommend their pizzas - we tried two and both were excellent.
Wife and I took a quick weekend trip to check out Pilot Mountain/Mount Airy, NC area. After hiking at Pilot Mountain, we headed 15 minutes north to Thirsty Souls in Mount Airy. It’s a neat little spot that’s clean, inviting, quaint and has a great selection of beers on tap. We were here in February so it was a bit chilly outside but I can imagine it’s a great spot to hang out at during warmer temps as it has a beer garden and large garage door that opens up to the street outside. If you enjoy craft beer and you’re in Mount Airy, definitely check this place out!
First of all, they do brew their own beer, and they do serve freshly cooked food! Second, but firstly :, service, food, and beer were amazing. James was very friendly and helpful. He suggested we try the Roasted Cauliflower and Roasted Peppers, both were fantastic! Two freshly brewed beers, no MBAT! They have plenty of indoor seating with some outdoor. you order at the counter and they will bring your order to the table. If you are staying or passing through Mount Airy, make this one of your stops and you won't be disappointed!
