First time he saw me he was nice. Second time I saw him he exploded on me. Very, very, loudly accused me of wanting painkillers. Went on a loud, terrible rant that everyone in clinic could hear. Very dehuminizing. His wife and staff members are very nice and helpful. But if you ask him even simple questions about your care he may blow up on you. Does NOT have the temperment to be a doctor. Have never seen anything like it. Gave him 1 star just so I could give prospective patients warning
I've been seen by several neurologist and he is the only one that hadn't just put me on different medications but also does blood work to make sure I wasn't having any issues with the meds after being on them for along period of time. And he make me feel comfortable talking with him. He doesn't just come in and rush out the room. And I finally starting getting some relief after he got me on the right treatments. No complaints here. And the office staff is so nice and polite! I highly recommend them.
I found Dr. Thomas to be friendly, polite, professional, knowledgeable, and willing to take the time to listen to my concerns. After a general discussion of the nervous system and the scope of his practice he performed a thorough examination and offered his diagnosis and several possible courses of treatment. It was decided that a conservative approach would be attempted first with more aggressive measures to be considered if this was not successful. He did not seem to be in a hurry and, in fact, spent perhaps an hour with me.
Front office lady and nurse is very nice and helpful. Dr Thomas is very rude, indifferent in what you think, feel or want. Everything has to be his ideal, or you hear how dumb that is. Constantly talking about what other Doctors give their patience. While trying to find out what is wrong with your body, he still makes appointments 3 to 6 months apart. I feel that is to long in between to find problem and help us. The last swerve side effects I had, lasted the whole 3 months. He now gave me another med and 6 months in between appointment times. Thanks but no Thanks, I am going to go find me a real Doctor.
Did not want to listen to me. In a nice way he told me I was just getting older. I still have pain daily and there are episodes or spells, whatever you want to call it that last for weeks that every muscle hurts, my balance is awful, vertigo, my legs feel heavy and there is numbness in my legs, feet, arms, hands and face. I live with awful muscle spasms. It’s very depressing.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Doctor Thomas had clear communication and was very caring and attentive to my concerns and questions. Would recommend him to family and friends alike!
This doctor lectured me for 10 minutes about taking responsibility for my health and if I didn't, he would release me as his patient. He then went out into the hallway and kept talking about me where I, as well as other patients could hear him. He is unethical and unprofessional. I gave him 1 star because it's not possible to give a zero!
He's TOTALLY unethical...he stood in the hallway in front of my mothers room waiting to see him and insinuated she was seeing him to get pills/narcotis...he wasn't pleasant at all very monotone and unconcerned with the health issues she was there to see him for...when I acknowledged the fact that he was wrong in his perception of my mother he just walked off and acted like he didn't just stand in front the door and make negative statements towards my moms complaints and issues...I don't not recommend anyone definitey not black people see him because he doesn't want to see patients of other races...we were referred to him by the Arkansas Heart Hospital HUGE MISTAKE...but I have already retained an attorney and another doc for a 2nd opinion...
Been going for years / everybody always nice / made a tough situation easier
