The front office staff is compassionate, kind, and will always make sure that we get the best care that they can give to their ability. In my experience I have never seen a front office staff care about their clientele the way that these girls do. The clinicians within this office have always showed compassion toward me during my appointments and helped me work through any concerns I have expressed about my plan of treatment. They make the necessary adjustments to get me to where I am. My medications are always sent in a timely manner and I can comfortably say my diagnoses are very well pinpointed/constantly being reviewed for their validity. I am very happy with how my care here has been handled and I can say I was unsure if I was ever going to find somewhere like TPMD to take over my care. I can comfortably and confidently say I have found a home here at TPMD; surrounded by great staff and clinicians.
To make a long story short, refilling prescriptions is a hassle and requires follow up because the doctor will frequent forget to send it to the pharmacy. The office will tell you that they are leaving a note for the doctor and they will get back to you within the day, on days there aren’t even any doctors in the building. I recommend visiting anywhere else, don’t put yourself through the hassle of having to worry about if you will be able to pick up your medication or even have a prescription after your appointments.
I’ve been seeing Dr Park, Dr Liptke, and the awesome front desk staff for years and they have helped me so much to get well. I’m forever grateful
My experience with Mr. in my opinion doesn’t deserve the title of dr. Park was excruciatingly unprofessional and inept. It began with my intake person being extremely rude and thinking she already knew my story in the five minutes she actually addressed me. I then learned they charged my insurance $400 for the 10 minutes I was in a room with her. I have a very complex traumatic past. Neither the intake person nor Mr. Park addressed the real reasons I am in need of a mental health professional. He kept stating the misinformation given him from the intake person and when I would interrupt to correct him, I would be told to “shut up and not interrupt him,”. It got to the point where I had to reprimand his behavior in having the facts wrong and his demeanor toward me. Instantly, he was insisting I was an addict. I have never, nor will I ever be one. He kept insisting I was an addict. I explained that I was too heavily medicated from previous care and I was the one to ask to be taken off of medication that was making me feel like a zombie. I was on two pills a day, instead of 15 per day previously. I was doing very well until I saw Mr. Park. He changed my meds and made things worse. I have only spoken with him 3 times in the last 6 weeks and each time was worse than the previous. This man has no concern for his patients. Does not take the necessary time to get to know whom he is treating and just wants to hand out more medication. And he calls me an addict. I didn’t need my meds changed. I just needed a new psychiatrist because my prior one no longer took my insurance. If I could have given this man a negative rating I would. I hesitated to put a review up because I don’t believe in speaking Ill about others publicly. However, my experience with this man makes me feel the need to protect future possible patients from having to go through what I myself experienced. In my opinion, he should not be in practice.
Always a Great experience at Park And Associates. Caring, empathetic, compassionate and professional environment and service.
Nothing but great things to say about my experience at Dr. Park’s office. Before I could be seen by Dr. Park, I had a pre-screening evaluation with another associate of the office - I believe she was a licensed counselor or social worker. She was also great, and I appreciated the thorough process to evaluate my needs. The reception staff was able to squeeze in my first appointment with Dr. Park and I was able to see him within a week. Dr Park instantly put me at ease, and obviously had a ton of notes from my original intake with the counselor. He had a good understanding of my situation before I even sat down to talk with him. He spoke to me with the perfect combination of professionalism and compassion. He put me at ease and made me feel understood. He began recommending a plan of treatment, which included multiple new medications. Normally, I hate taking medication. But Dr. Park thoroughly explained why he recommended each medication, the dose, and how they would work together to address what I was experiencing. Almost 5 months later, I’ve seen Dr. Park 3 times now to touch base. He is equally as warm and thorough at my follow up appointments as he was the first time I met him. The office staff helpful, friendly, and efficient. I never have to leave a voicemail if I call, and never feel like I am inconveniencing anyone if I have a question or need assistance. I usually HATE calling my other doctor’s offices because the staff can be less than friendly - but the women here are great and never make me feel anxious. Please give Dr. Park and this practice a shot of you are thinking of seeing a psychiatrist for the first time and are feeling unsure or nervous. You will be in great hands and wish you hadn’t waited so long to seek help.
I have been seeing Dr. Gutierrez for a few months now. He is personable and also very knowledgeable and takes the time to listen and collect extensive medical history to understand each patient as a whole. When I first came to him, I was feeling hopeless, my marriage falling apart, couldn't stay on task with average daily tasks in life. I felt dysfunctional, a "lost cause" if I'm being completely honest. A few months into seeing Dr. Gutierrez and I am on the proper medication and dosage, I can see a significant change. There is also a psychologist named "Jasper", he is available to talk each week and offers the best advice, a listening ear whenever anyone needs. I am very thankful I found this place. I feel like a person and not just a "patient" if that makes sense.
I don’t know what anyone is complaining about because I’ve had nothing but success with Dr.Duren Gutierrez. We have no issues with meds, he listens to my issues, is pleasant, concerned and easy to talk to. I have never had to wait an excessive amount of time for my appointments and the front desk has always been polite and helpful. Also Robyn Glickman is amazing. I don’t know what the bad reviews are looking for but hands down the best I’ve been to.
Do not trust this office with your mental health. My experience with this office for the last year and half has been bad overall. I was initially happy they could help me and the consultation with Dr. Parks was great. He’s friendly and informative. He took the time to explain what’s going on and how the medicine would work. After that I was pushed off to Dr. Gutierrez and it’s been downhill since. The office is very disorganized to where I am expected to not have medication the week after I run out. I have to portion the dosage that he prescribed to account for it. I have to call until they answer to help me get them refilled. They do not return calls. One time the receptionist insisted and her manager insisted I was abusing my my meds and kept it going until she found out the dr messed up the order. It wasn’t even a medication that people would abuse but they did not apologize, they just got too embarrassed to except payment and said I refused to pay $15 for a co pay. I found out my primary care dr can pick up his slack which will come handy since I’m on day 3 of calling to seeing if they can refill my meds. This is not a flare of emotion that is fueling this review. I have been hoping it was just office help not fulfilling duties but this is from the top and it has been a long enough time to leave a genuine review. Please do not trust this office with your mental health.
My experience with Thomas Park ABA service were ok in the beginning. 7/8, 7/11, and 7/12/2022 My son has came home with multiple bruises and scrapes. I was not notified at the time of the incident, the situations were only mentioned when I asked. The director of this facility Markeis Burch did not offer any assistance when it came to my sons wellbeing, ambulance or hospital visit. Neglect is not acceptable or tolerated. My son is non verbal and autistic. I spoke with Mr. Burch to get contact information for his higher ups I have not received any promises that were made due to this incident.
