Eric and Steph are great people. Eric went above and beyond to help me with my father and step mother as far as preplanning there funerals when they both ended up in a nursing home and everything got put on me to take care of.Then when my stepmom passed away during covid and the nursing home would not allow me to be with my father Eric stayed with my father for awhile and talked with him and they did a wonderful job with my stepmom funeral even though it was just small but my father and myself were very grateful and then 6 months later I lost my father and they went above and beyond again for me and Eric and Step did everything I wanted could not ask for better people my husband and myself have already preplanned our final wishes with Eric so our children wont have to worry about it and I recommend that everyone should preplanning your final wishes with what ever funeral home you choose but Eric and Steph do a wonderful job with that also they really do care and they listen .Thank you Eric and Steph. Went above and beyond caring for our Dad, even when other area Funeral Homes treated us more like $$, Thompson Smith Nesbitt showed exemplified caring and graciousness with us all! 5 Stars is not enough, they deserve beyond!! Working with us to have a memorable time during our loss,but, they managed the hurdles smoothly and made us completely comfortable during the whole process. You really can't ask for anything more. Want to thank them all so much for their personal support and touches for my Dad Leonard Bowers. No one else in Conneaut and Ashtabula showed the graciousness that you exemplified. They handled my Father’s Funeral just this week. I could not be more impressed. We called around for prices and we had found they were the most affordable. They went above and beyond every step of the way. They listened to all of our family wishes and did a great job. I was so impressed by Eric he gave me his cell phone number and we texted back and forth while ironing out all the details. It became very evident that he genuinely cared about our situation. He truly has a humble servants heart. I really hope we don’t get to use any of his services for a long long time but when the time comes he will be our first call.

Eric was amazing when my mom passed. He really went above and beyond to make sure it went well for me. He listened to me and anticipated my needs without me even telling him. I had no idea how to plan a funeral and he walked me through everything to mindfully. Going with them was a great decision.

Eric and Stephanie are absolutely INCREDIBLE people and EXTREMELY amazing at what they do. They went above & beyond for our family when my beloved grandmother passed away in 2015. They treated our ENTIRE massive family as if we were their own family. I couldn't possibly praise them enough. Everything from top to bottom was taken care of with emense care by them. For such a difficult time and journey- everything was perfect and handled with such genuine, thorough care, from beginning to end. I recommend them to anyone in the Ashtabula County area who is looking to be taken care of during their time of grief.
