2022 Went in today to get a bracelet and was welcomed by very kind and helpful staff. Quality of jewelry is amazing and totally recommend this place! 2023 I bought a $1600 bangle in June, 22 for my birthday and a couple months later in Feb, we took it back as the clasp kept popping open and the bangle had fallen off several times. We were hoping they could repair to make the bangle safe to wear. Owner John Thornton said the bracelet was too small for my wrist, which is not true as they made me try it on when I had originally bought it. Informed him that it had been perfectly fine for 9 months since we bought it and if it was too small why did their sales person not point that out at the time I bought it? He also made a point to rudely argue that the bracelet was a year old. He wears the same designer bangle and insisted on showing how his does not pop open when he flexed his wrist. The entire time he was rude, derogatory, and disrespectful. We had not asked for a replacement or even a refund, just simply a repair. He claimed that there was nothing wrong with the bangle. I later called the store and asked who the designer was. We were going to contact to see if they could assist with the repair. After being put on hold told by employee they claimed they did not know! As the owner himself wears EXACTLY the same unique brand that is obviously a lie. This company is the worse vendor I have ever dealt with. There is NO after service. We did get the bangle repaired in town for $30 within 2 hrs. Was told the bangle was misaligned and that was why the clasp was not connecting. No fuss or drama, just did their job. Would never buy from Thornton and Sons again, they are rude, arrogant and an unethical buyer...beware!

This place is the greatest, they are always ready to help. So far we have cut off a gold bracelet the cut is smooth and the bracelet still beautiful they were careful not to cut the engraving on the inside. My wife's wedding set expanded and it looks like new. They just replaced the loop on a pendant my Mother in law gave to my Daughter 20+ years ago, it looks better than new and saved an heirloom.

I went in to Thornton and sons to look at getting an engagement ring for my GF. I went with my best friend right after we left them gym. Not only was our salesperson “Anna” ,or should I say lack of salesperson, very judgemental after not being able to find the perfect ring I thought my Gf would love she then walked me to the clearance section. All I felt the whole time while in the store was the feeling of being judge just because my appearance. All I wanted was to see if I could find that “one” ring she would love. I would have loved to purchase a ring to purpose but her unprofessionalism was an instant mood kill to what is supposed to be a special moment. If my sales person wasn’t so judgemental maybe I would have told her I just sold both of my homes and had well over 50k to buy the ring and would have told her I am a finance manager and make over 10k a month. I would never recommend this store to anyone looking to have that special moment of finding the perfect ring.
