Very knowledgeable and helpful people. They only sell things they believe in and stand behind they honor their word which is a great warranty.
They have a great selection of parts. Their customer service is impeccable. When you talk to them on the phone they make you understand everything you need to know and that’s very important to me. They have gained a loyal customer thank you guys and keep up the great work.
Orders are quick and easily placed but be certain you want the parts you order if you change mind to go different route you have to pay shipping and restocking fees I spent $190.00 cost me $50.00 between shipping and restocking fees
1st part of my order shipped quickly and arrived undamaged. After 13 days I'm still waiting on the 2nd part of my order. I have not received any notifications or an estimated timeline in which it will be shipped. It was also not indicated anywhere on the website, the part was out of stock.
I ordered ball joints on the 30 of August. On September 6 I called to get a tracking number because I had not received one. Thoroughbred told me it was because it was going to take 8-10 weeks to get my order. I couldn't wait that long so I canceled the order. They told me I would see my refund in a couple days. Today is the 11 and I had to finally call and complain that I hadn't seen my refund. Now it's going to take another 5-7days to get my money. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. NEVER AGAIN!!
So I placed an order and received an email from them asking if I would like to wait until the manufacturer shipped the product or if I would like a replacement and I needed to let them know. I never responded to the email, which I take blame for but the email specifically stated to contact them to let them know how I would like to proceed. The product still showed up and I no longer needed it and so I returned it. Paid the return shipping and they charged me a 15% restocking fee. I reached out and took blame for my part and included the excerpt from the email which made me think nothing would happe without me contacting them and asked if we could meet in the middle. I was basically told "yeah, sorry.". Needless to say I won't be dealing with a company that has no understanding and takes no blame in their part of a misunderstanding.
Worst experience ever had. Been waiting on a part for a month. Label created 2 days after order. Week goes by not shipped. Call tracking they said it would be shipped in 2 weeks. Still not shipped. Call and they don't care about how the customer has been waiting on a pulley for over a month and it's lost him money
What made me decide to order the new turbo for my truck from Thoroughbred Diesel was their timely response to my questions regarding the compatibility of the turbo on my '04 Ford 6L. I didn't receive such a response from other sources as I was shopping around, which led me to believe that Thoroughbred will be there to support if I have questions during or after the install. Their price was also really good and the shipping was fast. One of the parts I ordered had been pulled incorrectly. When I contacted them about this, they overnighted me the correct part! Great customer service!
Ordered valve cover gaskets. Recieved broken ones, called only to be told I had to go through a different company because they didn't have any in stock and out sourced my order. Very upsetting after seeing the good reviews I was hopeful
