Almost died in this facility, apparently I went into respiratory distress. I do recall informing the nurse that I be come very nauseated with anesthesia and usually the anesthesiologist places a patch behind my ear to control these symptoms. I don’t know if this was done. After this happened my surgeon was never informed of what had happened until the following day when I was in the hospital. As I was informed that I was being transferred to the hospital the nurse that was telling made a comment that she just couldn’t understand how I didn’t remember what happened.
Every single person we interacted with was incredibly warm, welcoming, and helpful. Nurses, staff, doctors, everyone made our experience a good one. Surgery is stressful, and the people here clearly understand that and take the time to make you feel comfortable. Thank you to everyone involved, especially Donnie and Priscilla!
The nurses were absolutely amazing. They all did a perfect job, and I can’t even explain how comfortable they make you feel. They all have a great sense of humor and a huge heart. My first nurse Kate made everything so much nicer. And my last nurse, sadly forgot her name, but she was also the sweetest. If you’re having surgery here, just know you’ll be well taken care of.
Had such a great experience getting outpatient surgery at TOSH. The process scheduling the surgery was smooth and billing questions were answered quickly. All the peri-op nursing staff were outstanding. I haven’t had surgery in a while and was quite nervous, but they made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. The surgery hospital is very nice and every staff member was professional and kind. Hopefully won’t have to come back anytime soon, but would definitely choose this facility for any future procedures, if at all possible.
Thank you to all the staff that took great care of my family member. From the front desk, security and to the nursing staff. Things to know as a visitor they have Wi-Fi, a cafeteria to buy meals reasonably priced and a nice lobby to stand by while surgery is being completed. Mask on at all times and ask about visiting hours no over night stays.
My dad had surgery here recently. The doctors and nurses were amazing. Extra special thanks goes to the security guard, Hoppy. He went above and beyond to help us and make us feel like my dad was in the best of care.
After having multiple orthopedic surgeries and having stayed in many hospitals and Surgical Centers in my lifetime, all I can say is WOW! TOSH is clearly run by a management team who knows how to deliver health care at the highest level. And of course what makes this place special are the Doctors, Anesthesiologist, Staff, Nurses, Physical Therapists all the way down to the aids and Restaurant personnel. The facility is literally like staying in a Four Seasons like setting. Their communication and transparency before during and after your surgery are phenomenal. A big shout out to Angela and Allie who were simply the best post surgical nurses I’ve ever had. Thank you for taking such good care of me in such a beautiful facility by simply the most caring and attentive nurses you could ever ask for.
They provide the highest level of care I have experienced. Basically I had a private nurse for pre-op, a private nurse for the OR, and a private nurse for recovery. Even the doctors and anesthesiologist were friendly and in no rush. Better than any other hospital I have been to!
The moment I walked in an saw the big windows pouring in natural light, beautiful high ceilinged lobby with a bunch of comfy couches, I felt all the nervousness of going into my surgery slip away. The staff and nurses were incredibly present, attentive and kind and genuine. The meals were great, the hospital room was very nice and in general it was just a lovely place to get my procedure done and recover. It didn't feel like the chaotic energy of a hospital with noisy carts rolling down halls and overburdened staff running back and forth. Peaceful, calm and good vibes! Highly Recommend. Thank you.
Truly the best hospital experience I have ever had. From reception through pre op, surgery and recovery, every person who took care of me was so kind.
