The administration in this place is a joke and the care the residents get here is basically none. I flew in on a Friday night and pulled my grandmother out of there first thing Monday morning. 1 Cna for 40 plus residents is absolutely ridiculous and my mother and I were there from 8 am to 8 on luckily to take care of my grandma. Food was always cold when served and half the time something I wouldn’t even feed my dog. The rehab side was so dirty from the stained dirty carpet all the .way to the blood spots on the ceiling in my grandmas room. DON and administrator wouldn’t even speak with my mom or myself. As a nurse of 20 years and being a prior Cna in a nursing home Do not put a loved one in here
The staff is terrible to the patients - particularly the second shift. It is senior verbal abuse totally! The meals are always cold and they tell the patient to get up and use the bathroom themselves even when they cannot walk. My mother is getting PT after surgery from a broken hip - the therapists are wonderful the nursing staff not at all. They lie to you on the phone about the patient and turn their cell phone off. With no phones in the room it makes communication tough. What about bed rails??? These are elderly patients for goodness sake. I understand they are understaffed but there is such a thing as being compassionate and not so hateful! Please look elsewhere when considering PT! This is NOT the place you want to be. ***** 02/10/2023 I felt it necessary to finally add an update to this original post. It is with great sadness that I share my mother gained her angel wings on 12/5/2022. It wasn’t from a broken hip but medical staff neglect at this facility. Upon demand and threat to call 911 the nursing home released my mother to the local hospital where she passed. It is with great sadness and a broken heart I plead with everyone PLEASE do not let your family members or even friends nor pets go to this facility!!!
Nurses, Aides and Housekeeping all wonderful caring people. However looking to the corporate level it is extremely short staffed, kitchen workers do their best. But meals are usually ridiculously poor, how about real eggs sometimes instead of powdered. I wish the Corporate level cared enough to get out of the boardroom and try cooking a few meals and answer call lights. Maybe you don't pay enough the ones working right now are usually doing the work of 3 try paying them 3 times more! Somebody is using the money they charge residents for meals is definitely not getting to the patients. I believe the short staffing is critical.
Your loved ones will be in extreme danger if you take them to 3 rivers, dangerously short staffed work 1-2 aids per 40 residents, cares are not done for hours upon hours, the neglect there is at an high level. Do not I repeat do not take your loved ones here!!
Always has had a bad reputation, I went and took a quick COVID test, then put my information on the sign in pad, computer was slow, temperature monitor kept denying me, finally got through,20 minutes, asked the desk where to find the person I wanted to visit and they started asking the saig the same questions all over again, my problem is, all the people who claimed to have a negative test in the last 24 hours were walking by me, and they easily could have been bringing the virus in, but I was polite and patient and went through the procedure thathe front desk staff were rude and acted like they didn't have the me ntal capacity to walk a dog
Their patient are dehydrated and they are understaffed. They have not enough staff and when people go on vacation it leaves no RN in the building.
People in the position of scheduling are very disrespectful when talking on the phone. In all the dealings I have dealt with so far this place needs a true over haul from the higher ups all the way down to the little guy before it goes under.
Do not put your loved ones here!
Residents are loved like their own.
