Tons to do here, all seasons. Lots of well maintained biking and walking trails, a beach, paddle board and kayak rentals, and more. We live in between here, French and weaver lake parks, and love them all. A great summer spot that can feel like you’re not near the cities.. and in the winter, ice fishing and snowshoeing are options. A few years ago they had the polar plunge at Fish Lake, which was a blast. Check it out!
Came with our dog to try out the dog park and go for a walk on the trails. Dog park has small dog vs big dog areas. The big dog area is huge! All the dogs were well mannered dogs. Felt comfortable since it was our first time at a dog park. Accessible beach, canoes, bike path etc. We will definitely be coming back. Very nice area. Beautiful in the fall.
Nice place with lots of picnic table and well maintained restrooms. The couple trails loops are awesome for bike rides or even a walk.
One of the best parks in the area. The beach is great, always clean, lake has very clean water. Grills all around the park, several pay-to-use no leash dog areas great ones. Activities like volleyball, kayak rental and more! Its become much well known and has become a lot more busy for good reason. Hopefully it stays well-maintained for many years to come.
Beautiful area!! I will definitely be coming here again.
This is such an amazing park that you can go to all year round. There’s a nice hill to go sledding on during the winter and paved trails to walk on any time. The lake there is great for kayaking or canoeing too.
Very nice park with lots of options. Great walking and biking trails, a boat landing, dog park, beach, great area to hang hammocks, docs for fishing when weather appropriate. I would recommend this park.
Love this park. Dog friendly, interesting people, enjoyable walks, beautiful fall colors, interesting wildlife,
Great place to spend time. Beautiful trails, Beach, Dog park, picnic areas. The trails in the park will give you access to Medicine Lake Regional Trail too.
One of the smallest Three Rivers Park District nature preserves, but very nice. Two smaller walking trails, one following the lake shore. The park includes lake access, beach, and a off-leash dog park.
