I wish zero stars were an option. I made a reservation over 2 months ago and paid extra for a nicer vehicle. When I got here there are no cars available, not even one. These people in line see picture, including myself, have no transportation now. No notification on their part. Worst of all they are rude. This can't get any worse.
They are extremely slow in serving customers. Their customer service is the worst and they don't explain the details when renting. They also do not explain how the toll system works, either due to ignorance of their employees or because they want to charge you extra.
They deserve less than zero stars! Worst rental car experience ever! Two hours standing in line in a hot, overcrowded, small space. Absolutely terrible! Three attendants that rotated out for their lunch breaks leaving two attendants working as slowly as possible, one watching his favorite wrestler on the TV at the counter and one spending too much time socializing! The line was just too long for all that. And they absolutely did not show an ounce of concern or urgency to get us out in a timely manner! And the car was dirty! I would never recommend this place! Wish I’d read the reviews beforehand so that’s my fault! Trust these reviews! They are spot on!!
I booked a car with them for a weekend trip. When I arrived at the airport, it took over an hour for a single shuttle to arrive. I tried calling the location but all numbers lead to a machine that won't help unless you already have the car since you need info you don't have yet. Eventually a shuttle arrived and took me to the business where I see people pouring out the door. 20 minutes pass and I'm finally talking to a representative but they just ask me to put my name on a notepad and sent me to wait more. Not even with some paperwork to fill out to speed up the process. The lobby was completely full, and there were people sitting outside also waiting, some sitting on the curb because there was no seats left. Another hour and a half passes before I get to actually do any paperwork. Once that was done they sent me off to wait even more. Another 30 minutes pass and I finally get a car. My reservation pick up time was 2pm but didn't end up leaving the place until half past 5. I get that delays are a normal thing when it comes to rentals but this was above and beyond acceptable
After van drop there were 4 people ahead of us plus two at the counter being serviced by the only two agents. A 35 minute wait for first person at counter to get car. That agent then took a 15 minute " break", leaving one agent. Manager was there, using phone and one station without helping anyone. Line behind us became 15 deep. Other personnel flitted in and out. Nobody ever said " thanks for your patience". Eventually, after 1hour 10 minutes we got to the counter. Never more than two working agents. No wonder this location rates 2.8 stars.
I was having a horrible day, and I only got one word for y’all. Carol. She’s an employee that only works on the weekend AND SHE GETS THE JOB DONE . I wish I could give her a nice lil gift bag for helping me find the perfect rental for this trip, but I guess we will be fine with this review. I had the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee - that car is a 10 outta 10 by the way. Yeah the place is small and it can get crowded, but some of y’all should pre book your car online through a third party, and then come see Carol. She was amazing, thank you. Give Carol a raise.
My recent experience was fraught with problems. Rather than report those, please let me take time to recognize an extraordinary supervisor at the PHL site. Summer is amazing. She is tasked with dealing with an extremely busy airport location which is also understaffed. She handled our extremely complex problem with efficiency, courtesy and professional aplomb. She was amazing and everything one would hope for to raise the standards of this poorly run company. She should be appreciated and recognized!
This whole experience is a joke. Zero cars with "1 1/2 - 2 hr." Wait times. The building is overflowing with people both inside AND outside with the rudest and careless staff of any establishment I have ever seen. Every single person's plans here have been delayed or ruined and mine in particular are completely foiled. Thanks for nothing and leaving me stranded. I will make it A Point to make sure people avoid booking with this horrendous business. I would have had gotten to my destination faster by hitchhiking. I had a reservation and they told me "it doesn't matter" they are giving the cars out, first come first serve. Absolutely. Terrible. Service.
Horrible, horrible, horrible experience. An employee treated my mother and I so disrespectfully and was condescending the entire time speaking with us, as if we were beneath him or something. It was 12am after a delayed flight, trust me we didnt want to be there talking to him either. Kept my cool the entire time, then was hit with a $250 debit or $500 credit deposit. I will admit, expedia may have misled or left out information for customers as there were 2 other people with the same issue. The employee must not like his job or not to say it lightly, may be a little racist because he decided that he didnt want to help us anymore, even yelled at us, because we were unaware of the deposit. So I admit after 45 minutes of being treated like an animal, I said "what the F?" Thats when HE THREW MY MOM'S I.D AND CREDIT CARD AT HER. What kind of digusting company employs people like that? And why is information like the deposit amount left out until we get to the counter? Also from another review, the wait to get to the counter was like 30-45 mins
Longest line ever getting through this rental. Well over an hour. Then, we found out our car was sitting there waiting because we were given the name of the wrong make. Lastly, a few minutes out, we got a "low tire pressure" . Turned out there was a nail in the tire. Should probably have purchased a toll tag, but was ill advised. On the upside, returning the car was easy peasy.
