It was a great experience, very organized, it was easy locating the rental car. And even when I returned the rental car it was no hassle. Will rent again.
This was the best experience I've ever had renting a car. The customer service at the desk at the airport when we picked up the car was fast and courteous. Dropping off the car was very quick and easy. Someone was there as soon as we got out of the car.
After a long flight, i arrive to CHS to find the Thrifty Rental kiosk closed & redirected to Hertz for service. The Hertz line was Incredibly long & while waiting, one of the Hertz employees closes her window to head over to the Thrifty kiosk to assist customers. The employee should have taken the next Thrifty customer who's been waiting in line, but instead, the customers who were in the back of the Hertz line made a dash over to Thrifty. It was annoying. However, the Hertz representative I dealt with when it was finally my turn was very friendly, fast & thorough. The Car itself was fine & drove fine, but a bit dirty inside. Could've used a vacuuming. The windshield wipers might need replacing as they didn't work that great in the rain.
Very nice people at the desk but the managers special was no deal. I was given the biggest four door pick up I have ever seen. I could barely get into the truck and then couldn’t even get it out of the lot. I had to go back inside and get the next “cheapest” thing they had. Which was a LOT more money. My own fault thinking that the managers special just meant something small which was all I needed because it was just me with one bag. Next time I will know that the “deal” may not be the way to go. pictures are of the truck and the only other car they had!
Staff was very friendly! I signed up for the managers special and we were pleasantly surprised by the pick-up truck we got! I would definitely rent with Thrifty again!
Service was great! Zero wait time at the airport and upgraded to a minivan based on available inventory, we had a 3 hour drive ahead of us so the extra space was awesome. I'll return and use Thrifty again for all my rental car needs.
My experience was not great. After waiting 20 min in line and there was only a couple at the counter, the disappointed began.I reserved an SUV. When arriving at the counter I was informed that there were not any SUVs available. My choices a mini van or a pick up truck neither of which I am comfortable driving nor did I request nor was it a way to celebrate a girlfiend's birthday. I asked if they could find any SUV or car - no was the answer and the rep said I could go to your competitors and see if they had any. Really? Wow, that is not the customer experience I was expecting or have experienced in the past. So, expectations not met I took the pick up. Once we got to the area with the vehicles the first thing we noticed was the abundance of SUVs and of cars. We found our very HUGE pick up truck and a gentlemen who was working was parking an SUV. We asked why so many SUVs and cars here on the actual lot and why were we told there were NONE. Because the supervisor hasn't walked the keys up to the counter. Truly unbelievable. Not only was my customer service experience poor, but to be lied to on top of it. And, the best part, the car was HUGE and very uncomfortable to drive. And you may think , why not the mini van. Because I am not a mommy mini van women. Let's see if you can redeem yourself with some customer care. Thank you

Amazing service while at Charleston airport. Customer service representative was very professional and polite and have a great energy. The vehicle was . Pristine and clean. It was a red Dodge charger. I loved it. Very well-maintained.
This was the worst experience of my traveling lifetime. First, the intake desk is 3 miles from the car. No one checks the car with you. I am 76 years old. I had to struggle with my luggage to get the car. I was told to have the gas in the same place on my return. I was given a receipt that stated that the tank was full. You took $49 out of my account for 3 gallons of gas. Everyone knows that you can overfill a car past full. I am a travel agent and I intend to slam you every chance that I get. I also intend to file a claim with the BBB.
