After having a reservation for a few weeks, we arrived at Thrifty to be told we would still need to wait at least 3 hours before we could get a car... This is WITH a reservation. They were also telling people that had a reservation made within the last 24 hours that they were not going to be able to honor their reservation. They weren't even apologetic about it. Called in to the main customer support line and got a bunch of nonsense and no support.  Will not rent here again.  We went down to Alamo/National and got a great car and reasonable rate and were in our car and on our way in 10 minutes.  Thrifty, get your stuff together.

Apparently they're doing a great job because it was the only rental company where there was a long line. Budget had about 4 people in line and Enterprise had none. The agent was really nice and told me all the options I had. He even gave me the choice between 3 cars. I was 42nd person in line and it took me about 40min to reach the agent's counter. The dropoff was also as easy as it gets. There were a few agents at the return lot. I was just asked to turn off the car and leave, no paperwork required. I took the elevator hopped in the train and i was at the security check in less than 12min.

ALWAYS A LONG LINE; 2HR wait! Avoid this agency at the ATL airport. The line is not long because of the best rate or cars. It’s long because the reps and managers have no sense of urgency. The lines are not set up for efficiency. They either need more reps or a manager with a better understanding of peak times. No one is thinking out the box. I challenge Thrifty CEO level leaders to visit this location and assess if this meets the mission and vision of the company.

Very unprofessional and inefficient place.I have rented from every rental agency at the airport and thrifty,/dollar has consistently been terrible. The counters are never fully manned no matter how many people are in line. The workers are too talkative and sometimes very rude. There's no reason I should be hearing personal stuff.Especially when I'm waiting in line for hours. Then when the line is long she comes out yelling at us like we're in a high school lunch line. They CAN do better. They all take a 5-10 minute break between customers. At any given time you can see 2-3 of them walking around lacsidasically, with no sense of urgency. Management needs to talk to their employees about being more professional. Then when you ask questions they act like you're a criminal and catch major attitude. They did have the best rate, though. But I'd rather not rent from here. With all that said I do understand that these are people doing their job and sometimes they just can't please everyone.

Take an Uber to an actual rental place. Don't rent here. We got the worst car. Literally falling apart, 20 miles in the tire pressure light turned on. There is nothing wrong with it. The mirror fell out when I opened the passenger visor. There is a weird black plastic bit just hanging out in here. And finally, when you drop off your car, there is no confirmation! You just park and leave the key. They "send you a receipt." Haven't gotten mine yet!

With a reservation made months ago we had to stand in line for over 2 hours and then had to wait another 2 hours for the car. The line wasn't long because they're good its because they're incompetent. They should be able to monitor the number if reservations for same day and time. This is horrible customer. I'm at Atlanta Airport. NEVER book with this company. After 2.5 hours they came out and bellowed at us again that now it would be 8 hours for a car. We had to make other arrangements and pay more money. I didn't get to see my son who I hadn't seen in 2 mos. Ruined a nice trip.

The experience with Thrift Car Rental was nothing short of a complete disaster. From the moment I made my reservation, it was clear that this company doesn't value their customers at all. For some reason they gathered all customers from Thrifty and Dollar at the same desk so you would expect the staff to be unhelpful and seemed like they didn't even want to be there. After waiting in line for 3 hours what felt like an eternity, I was finally given a car.  Overall, I would not recommend Thrift Car Rental to anyone. They don't care about their customers or the quality of their vehicles, and their customer service is atrocious. Save yourself the hassle and go with a more reputable car rental company. Sometimes It is not right to go cheaper.

Worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. The employees are so miserable with their jobs and life choices they taking it out on everyone.  Each one of the employees there on 8/8/23 at 11pm were being rude and yelling at everyone. They were acting like a team of a-holes. Then two left one guy alone in front and that guy decided to yell at customers on line and speaking to them as if it was someone in the streets he was trying to physically fight. I truly thought he was going to get up and punch someone in the face. The way he spoke to the people behind me was unbelievable.I have never seen someone speak to someone that way at a place of business. And the lady simply asked what they said since she literally just got on line. I posted the photo of the man who was yelling and being rude. They need to get rid of everyone that was working that day at that time and re-train a new crew. This was Atlanta airport.

I am traveling with my family, I had already paid for my rental when I booked my trip. And when I was getting the paperwork done I was asked if I wanted insurance. It was not disclosed to me that it would be an almost $22 charge per day. I am now out money that I had not planned to spend. Leaving me in a bind while traveling. The people at the desk need to be more transparent in what the charges are if they are adding something THAT WILL COST EXTRA!!!!!.all I was told is there would be a hold on my card. Not an extra $400! So sad, because up until then I had had a great experience with the company. Won’t be using this company again.

Three points of terrible customer service at this location.  I picked up on 8/28 at around 9 am.  A young lady in a head scarf and green mask performed the transaction.  No name tags are worn.  The greeting was Credit Card license.  I did not wear a mask, she sat far away from the barrier and complained I didn't reach through it to pass her my items.  I asked several questions with no answers.  No salutation was given.  Got outside to the next attendant, she said hey what car you want?  Pick whatever you like.  Thank you.  Last gate attendant to the far left, same thing, no greeting, mumbled instructions, and I felt like I was bothering him at his job.  Had to ask him to repeat everything.  You all can do better.  Please.
