We're to start hmm.......  well for 1 500 deposit required if you dont use a credit card. Which is nowhere to be found anywhere when you reserve except when you are in line picking up your car. So 500 deposit not enough. I order mid size SUV WITH 7 SEATS. I GOT A FORD ESCORT with barely 5 seats and nowhere to put our luggage AND PAID 100 DOLLARS MORE STILL THEN WHAT WAS ADVERTISED TO ME. Go with Alamo or enterprise . Do not ever rent a car from this place or dollar horrible experiences both times. If I could give negative I would.

I was able to make a reservation online and pay a couple weeks in advance but they left me and my family hanging at the airport because the company didn't recognize my bank information when I needed to pay for the security deposit.  I had to cancel my reservation that I already paid for and go through a different rental car company. I don't recommend you get a car through them.  Other people in line seemed to have issues with getting a vehicle through them.

I had booked a car with them for my Orlando trip. A week before my trip they tell me that they made a new policy so now instead of $200 for a deposit I would have to give $500, but I had the option to cancel. I called them to cancel it and now they want to charge me $60 to cancel it. I had never heard of this place in my life beforehand so that’s my lesson learned

The pick up was easy and the car was great, however I only had the vehicle for 11 hours and  had no access to the drop box that is located "in" the airport that was closedat 12:15 pm -at least the terminal side.  I walked the airport for 40 minutes looking for another drop box, could not get a hold of the 24 hrs so called customer service and had to leave the key in the car. The next day 3/31 I was charged another $100 dollars to my Visa, I spoke to support twice the next morning, and again today Visa contacted me because Thrifty was trying to charge now a 3rd time me again. The return part of this rental was a terrible experience.  I usually use another company and decided to give Thrifty a chance, so far i'm full of regret.

So where do I start? The vehicle has a sticker showing that the car has been thoroughly cleaned out due to COVID. After arguing with the representative over there only being 1/4 tank and they tried saying it was full until I made them come outside to see for themselves. After that was resolved, I arrive to my condo and find drug paraphernalia in the back of the drivers seat. I call customer support and want to change my drop off location and explain to them what I’ve went through. They stated that there was nothing they could do and I would still be charged more. I asked to speak with corporate and was told they won’t take my call. So I then tell them that I will just have local law enforcement come and seize the vehicle and the rep said, “well you do what you need to do”. This is by far the worst rental car company I have ever dealt with and by far the worst customer service. Please for your own sanity, DO NOT RENT FROM THIS AWEFUL COMPANY!!!!!

Very horrible. After making a reservation three times to 3 different sites all confirmed and charged to my account employee tells us that they don't have anymore cars. It was not a special weekend or busy weekend. There was no line to wait. And to top it all off, their car section was filled with cars!!!! How can I make a reservation over and over if you don't have cars. I even called their corporate office and the office confirmed that there are plenty of cars available. Yet their own corporate office could not contact the the rental spot!!!! I've had too many bad experiences with this place, and I will not waste my money with them ever again. If you are smart, you wouldn't either. I know people use this a lot, but I feel like that was total racial discrimination.

If I could give 0 stars I  would!!!! The absolute WORST experience-hours on hold -ping ponging me back and forth thru Expedia another harrowing experience!!!!. The representative Jules  refused to let me speak to a supervisor -he actually said “you have no need to speak to a supervisor-I’m telling you everything you need to know”.  I will NEVER AGAIN rent from them-not will I ever use Expedia!   Unbelievable incompetence!!!!!

Absolute scam! Do not use! Forced me into additional products. Lady at the front desk wouldn’t accept my card without adding in extra stuff. Waited about 2+ hours total for my car. Scam scam scam done use!!!!

Blonde mullet lady at the front desk was RUDE. You should have no problem explaining to people the charges associated with a rental. As a physician, if I interacted with your loved ones the way you did with me it would leave you sorely dissatisfied if not irate. We both work in the service industry and you can do better.

Pay More for a Better Rental Car Company!  1. Poor communication. They send you an email with the rental requirements and then surprise people when they show up to pick up the car.  2. I attempted to extend the rental and you increased the daily rate from $25 to $85 per day.  Next time I will pay more to rent from a better company.
