I booked a reservation for a car rental pickup after 11PM at 7801 Col H Weir Cook Mem Dr, Indianapolis for April 21st, 2023-April 25th, 2023 4PM.  When I arrived at the pickup location at 11PM on April 21st, there was no one there for me to pick up the rental car. One of the lot attendants for another company even mentioned to me that this is not the first time they have done this, leaving before a reservation pickup. I had no choice but to get a rental with another company, Avis. This rental cost me $424.46. The rental I was expecting to receive with Dollar was priced at $180.33. I had already paid $120.00 of that amount.  I contacted Dollar Customer service on Saturday April 22nd, 2023 and was told they could not help me at all. So I called my bank, Capital One, and they were able to get my money refunded for the reservation.  However, considering there is a $244.03 difference in the price I had to pay for another companies rental car because Dollar failed to honor my reservation, I am requesting this amount from Dollar for the inconvenience of their lack of service.  I made a complaint on their website and have been reached out to by 4 different CSR’s and no one is resolving this. I will NEVER rent from Dollar ever again. Shady company.

Booked Ford Edge Titanium or similar… received 23 Nissan Murano lower trim level. New car so not much to complain about. Staff was friendly and gave no issues checking in or dropping off the car. Good rates. Would rent again!

Misquoted Price.  Total Charges were over  $300 more than Total Estimated Charges.  Daily rate, taxes, Concession Fee Recovery and other fees were all understated on the estimate.  Was already past airport security and boarding flight when I received the Receipt.  Still no answer from a survey complaint or two other “Contact Us” emails requesting clarification of charges and it’s been almost four weeks now.  Phone number will only support current renter issues.  Booked Thrifty through Delta Sky Miles app, haven’t had the same issues with other car renters through Delta.

Terrible experience.  Got a flat tire and did not have the proper tools to change my own flat tire within the vehicle.  Found out that the lock nut on the rim was after market and specific to the company that applied it.  Tow truck driver could not help us as nobody had the specific key to change the tire.  The rental car could only be towed to the companies service facility and was told i had to pay for my own Uber/Lyft because i had not purchased some other special insurance that i knew nothing about.  That tow driver could not tow the rental car that far due to his boss not giving him permission to do so and he had to drop us off at a Wal-Mart parking lot with the vehicle.  After many attempts of trying to get this issue resolved with either another driver or the damn tool to change the tire myself some unprofessional CS rep repeatedly sent me texts stating that my roadside assistance request was cancelled at my request.  I never requested that.  I do admit that i was irate after the 10th phone call, who wouldn't be, but still no excuse for the level of help, or lack of help, that i received.

Great, clean rental car. Had some difficulty locating the car rental area. Some walking with luggage to get to the cars, which are all parked in the airport garage. Convenient in that you don't have to wait for transport and then line up for service. Cheerful service and very pleasant, cheerful return checking agent.

Permanently Disabled & stranded 1100 miles away from home because Dollar Car Rental failed at providing disclosures & Ciera who proclaims to be the only manager spite Michelle her supervisor being on the clock chose to blame the 3rd Party Company that Dollar Rental Car allowed complete access & authority to do their booking for them. At the end of the day Dollar Rental Car literally stranded a Permanently Disabled USA Citizen 1100 miles away from home even though my entire reservation was paid except for security deposit which I also had at time of checkin. Thanks to Uber for picking us up & providing our needs that Dollar/Hertz/Thrifty Car Rental was unwilling & unable to do. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS ESPECIALLY AT INTERNATIONAL AIRPORTS! Worse car rental company out there! Had a reservation to be picked up at 10:15 PM...flight was delayed got in at 10:50...had to pick up luggage. Got to counter at 11:15. NOT a soul at the rental counter. Asked the Avis representative if they knew if anyway was at the counter and they said no, they close and leave exactly at 11!! Which was no where on the rental site! Then there is no way to get hold of anyone except some call center in India!! Will never ever rent through them again. AvIs came through and got us a rental. DO NOT USE THRIFTY

Very helpful!  They don't answer the phones... just know that much!  As I had to move my rental a day due to my long flight landing in the following day! But, regardless, of getting them on the phone...they were willing and ready to accommodate and it was no trouble at all!

This place is absolutely Horrible, I made a reservation months in advance only to arrive & have them deny renting me a vehicle. The guy behind the counter gives me a phone number to call in which I did & it's closed. They did nothing to help, wouldn't transfer my reservation to my father-in-law & all they did was give me a hard time. Thrifty will leave you stranded out of state with confirmed reservations without a care in the world. Never in my life have I done business with thrifty and certainly never will. WORST PLACE EVER to even try and do business with & I highly recommend you call Enterprise, they'll come pick you up!

Positive: I received the car I signed up for and the price I signed up for. Negative: The counter attendant did not know how to use PLEASE and THANK YOU. Also she did not care to have a smiling face. The young lady needs more trainnig in courtesy and attitud.
