It’s great that we have a support team of folks that text us to make sure everything is ok and remind us of appointments and are available to answer questions anytime. But our therapist is really the best! Lindsey is kind and compassionate and really knows her stuff. My wife and I feel very comfortable opening up to her. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking.
Not even the slightest bit useful. I went to them for job coaching services, which they claim they offer on their website, and they provided me with a psychologist and therapy. That is false advertising and is illegal. My advice, if you need job coaching, this isn't the place for you. If you want someone to pry into your personal life over zoom, this might be the place for you. They also claimed they took my insurance, but my insurance didn't cover it. They straight up lied to me.
My experience so far has been very good. Me and my wife are looking forward to our next session.
My provider was amazing! The rest of my Thriveworks experience? A nightmare!!!! Seriously for a place that specifically works with and to "help" mental health patients all they did was make my anxiety worse surrounding treatment! Intake doesn't bother to verify insurance, you will be charged self pay rate and not ever get the same answer twice. They refuse to issue refund even though i have insurance and had them on a recorded line admitting my insurance wasn't verified which the contract you sign states if your insurance cannot be verified or wasn't that thriveworks would reach out to the patient/client and let you know. Which they never did and I had evidence of and they just didn't care!!! Superivisors never call you back, ever. And just as a whole the billing/insurance side has no idea what they are doing! Ultimately I filed a dispute with my bank for the charge and will have to attempt to seek service elsewhere. So, amazing providers but the Thriveworks admin side ruined the entire positive experience. I'm going to get the app intellect and use that instead. Cheaper and I don't have to deal with this nonsense. Wish I didn't have to go that route but I know my insurance 20$ Co pay and the process and thriveworks still made me waste hours of time and gave me nothing but half hearted lip service. Patient beware!!!!!!
Scheduling staff was very helpful. They offer licensed, clinical, evidence-based couple's counseling, exactly what I was looking for. I didn't have to wait long for our intake appointment.
I thoroughly enjoy my therapy sessions with Kyle. She is very effective in working with me on an intellectual and emotional level. Very easy to be open and honest with, without judgement.
Shannon is easy to talk to and insightful. I have high hopes I can unlearn and relearn some better ways of coping.
I won't call to make an appointment here after all. 100 bucks for a membership? That's a threat mentality up front, not a challenge mentality to be considered and worked through based on faith and rationale. Red. Light. Thank you but no.
Had to take some time today to give Nytasia Dockery five stars and some! I’ve had the opportunity to observe her for years, as she has helped me immensely. I honestly can’t name a person better at what she does! She really cares about her clients, very hands on, very professional, and takes the time to build a great relationship with her clients.
DO NOT search for psychiatric help through ThriveWorks. I booked a psychiatric appointment over the phone, looking to get tested for adult female ADHD. It was supposed to be an hour long session. It only lasted 17 minutes, and they still billed me for the 39$ “membership” fee + plus the session that only lasted those 17 minutes. 200+ total because they didn’t accept the insurance they assured me would cover me. When Josephine Dakin-Davis answered my virtual appointment, she was in the middle of eating her lunch. I explained what I was looking for/curious about, and she told me it was merely my hormones, and that most of my symptoms were imaginary. I’ve never felt so dismissed in all my life. Do not go with this company. It’s a joke and I’m still to this day being billed with the membership fee, even though I haven’t made an appointment in months. Just do your research and go somewhere where they actually have trained professionals.
