Good prices and customer service; however website was misleading to what is in stock with poor communication after placing orders without the customer having to reach out to find out what is going on with orders. Ended up being a safe / accommodating place to order from but the time length was nearly double the promised time per the billing contract leading me to wonder if I was scammed or forgotten about. Thanks to Hoyt for being very responsive when I reached out and communicated well on what was happening.
I recently got into miniature painting and began sinking serious money into the hobby. After shopping around online, I found that TG&G had very competitive prices and great selection in comparison to many other online stores. I also like their used section in-store… lots of great stuff to paw through! However, this is not what makes them an exceptional retailer of new and used hobby supplies. I don’t think of myself as a difficult customer, but through my own ineptitude I create problems that either cost me financially or require Herculean efforts by salespeople to remedy. In this scenario, TG&G went above and beyond to help me with my online order issues . Their communication was quick and courteous and they were able to accommodate me even though they didn’t have to. I wouldn’t expect such treatment from any other retailer. I will definitely be coming back!
I'm sure the store is great for 95% of the people who just need a simple transaction, ie. buying a product in person at the physical store or something they have in stock online. This is only my sole experience. Their website mentions for GW products that they will reach out to you if the items you ordered online need to be ordered from Games Workshop and could potentially take up to 30 days to arrive before your order is shipped. So this way you can make up your mind if you want to keep your order I'm assuming and give them the opportunity to order your products in for you. I was never given that option and the items were ordered for me without me knowing so I am now subjected to a 10% restocking fee when their website says 3% for cancelling my order which I don't even know when I would get. I waited a week after my order without any contact and then decided to email to figure out what the issue was and also was considering cancelling. I did not get a reply through email so I wrote them on Instagram and had a reply the next day which said my order would ship the following week. I decided to keep the order going under those terms. The order still didn't ship after that following week so I messaged again to go ahead with cancellation only to have my email and Instagram request read and then ignored twice. After I just did what I should have done in the first place and called the store the day after to talk to a human being over the phone where I would have a much better chance of figuring out what is happening. Basically they just charged me money for their poor customer service. I'm sure it's a great store and I wish things happened differently.
Just visited since I am vacationing in the area. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the deals... my god, I'm blown away. I might even try to make a return trip before I leave!
Clean, bright, and has lots of space to play games. There is a arts and crafts area too to buy things from local artists. Great service.

Hi all! I traded in models from B.C and had a very positive expierence. Had quick replies and fair quotes. My package was received on a Monday and processed same week, and it was a good little chunk of stuff. Would recommend to others :
Excellent selection of pokemon, yugioh, mtg warhammer and D&D related merchandise. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They are very accommodating should the item you want isn't in stock.

Take this review with a grain of salt as clearly they have great reviews and reputation. I am very clearly an anomaly in TGGs customer history. I guess for some reason they chose to not care about me, my money or my time. On one hand I have been trying to give TGG the benefit of the doubt as I am buying models from GW’s less popular game Lotr Mesbg so it may sometimes be harder to get the products. With my first order I waited 29 business before emailing them for an update, they have a statement saying GW orders may take UP TO 20 days to process as they hadn’t contacted me at all in that time. I wasn’t upset, I was and am aware the world has been weird and shipping has been extra hard lately, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt that it was out of their control and waited for a reply. I waited 5 more days before emailing them again, nothing. On the 7th day I email again asking if I have the correct address, two days later they finally respond telling me my order has only partially arrived. Their immediate suggestion to me was asking if I wanted to drop the items that hadn’t arrived to which I decided in hindsight perhaps foolishly to order more, they were having a sale and what can I say, I love Lotr and I love sales. I received part of my first and second order 41 business days 58 days after my initial purchase. I am now on business day 25 38 days of my second order with no update and no reply to my latest email sent 5 days ago Side note: I have emailed TGG from a separate account and got email responses in under an hour which is why I have been left feeling as frustratingly ignored as I do. It feels weird complaining about “toys” and “hobby things” but at the end of the day these are things I enjoy and how I choose to spend my hard earned money and time. I feel as if I’ve been consistently ignored and overlooked by TGG. I am left with so much disappointment throughout this experience as to not even bother contacting them about a few broken and slightly damaged pieces in my first order, believing it would be an utter waste of time to even bother trying to get help.
