Tidal Wave Carwash

This is a cheap, automatic car wash. I would assume that makes the business a "volume game," but you wouldn't know it from the interaction I had with one of the employees possibly the manager, given age and the way he was dressed. Dude tried to sell me a monthly subscription like he was pushing time shares. I let him go through his little pitch explaining that for only $5 more than the wash I had selected I could get unlimited washes for 3 months, and then said "nah, we'll stick with just the one wash." He asked, "are you not from around here or something?" And then proceeded to re-explain the deal as if I hadn't understood him the first time. I told him I just don't get my car washed very often so it wouldn't be worth the extra $5, and then he acted like I was crazy for not wanting to spend extra money on something I'm not going to use and get myself another subscription that I have to remember to cancel. He made sure to tell me just how many times I would have to get a car wash in the next 3 months to make the deal worth the extra cost up front, and then made sure to waste even more time telling me to look into some kind of pre-paid plan. Meanwhile there were 15 cars waiting behind me. This place is obnoxious.

Based entirely on customer service. Today the line was long and there was an older white bald employee running around yelling at people through their windows. I waited patiently for around 10 minutes and when I only moved up two spots, I turned around by the dumpster area. He saw me trying to turn around by the dumpsters and he sent another car to block my way. He's screaming for me to back up even though I didn't have much room and he knew it. I gave the room I could without hitting the dumpsters so the car he sent to block my way could pass. As I was passing him he screamed at me to slow down and tried to take a swing at my truck. I was not driving fast. I kept the same speed as I exited the parking lot. Never going back again. I can't believe they let people with that kind of attitude interact with customers. It's a car wash, it's not that hard.

The young man working was super friendly and my truck had a lot of mud caked up in the wheel wells. He spent several minutes blasting it off before sending me through the wash. Really went over and above for me. Thank you.

Their automated payment machine is not easy to navigate and you can not purchase any detail services from it. The wash was mediocre at best and the interior clean was no better. I had to bring my vehicle back the next day to get my carpets shampooed instead of when I got it washed and the interior cleaned. The one spot that really needed to be cleaned seemed to be the one spot they skipped. I don't think I'll ever return to this place.

Great price for unlimited monthly washes. They cleaned my car inside and out better than I ever could. Perfect for winter road filth.

Second time going to this car wash and every time I am let down. I went threw and the manager is standing outside on the phone. I purchased the $16.00 wash they only wipe one side of my car. Went through it stopped twice while we in there. I went around and vacuumed out my car noticed the back of my car hadn’t even been touched all around the sides were all still really dirty. Mother Earth could have done a better job. I go back around to show them it wasn’t washed Manger comes up to me mind you still on the phone takes my receipt. And says to me I’m going to give u a basic wash even though I didn’t see u come threw I told him sir I can pull the transaction up on my phone. He says I didn’t say I didn’t believe you I just didn’t see u come threw then keeps my receipt. I trying to figure out at that very moment how didn’t you I’m not from here and I have another states plate think u would have noticed had u not been on your phone. Either way my cars not washed and I have a receipt. How rude and unprofessional. I am supposed to be able to redeem a wash in the next couple of weeks that’s why he kept my receipt instead of just rewashing the car he redeemed my free wash. WOW I tell u what I can’t believe people and there I’m write your wrong attitude think he needs to go back and start from the bottom and work his way back to the top I think the position has went to his head and he needs to regroup. U go here make sure he sees u cause if he doesn’t it’s your fault your car is not wash and lords knows if the conversation on that phone is good he definitely won’t remember u.

I’ve never been to a car wash like this before. The employees smile and are friendly, especially towards someone like me who had never been there before. I was really impressed with the environment and service- only place in STL I’ll be going!

I really like this car wash They are close by, the staff are friendly. They have many vacuums and above all they clean your window shield and back window for you which is great

They use recycled water that dries dirt bead on your car before you can even get out just outside the wash and dry them off. LOL I guess those towel boys try and rub them out rub the dirt in so to speak Terrible set up
