Be aware of what books your children are reading. We went there today and we just looked at a couple of books and we left. The books were full of racism and other inappropriate content for children. You can see in the pictures that I am posting with this review an example of a book that suggests that boys and girls can share the public restroom. Parents please be aware and lift your voices about what the government is doing with your taxes.
Beautiful library that’s quiet on the weekends. Unique selection of books for recreational reading and college courses. Clean bathrooms and water fountains and you can rent a quiet room or sit in a chair facing gigantic windows.
My daughter attending ATC would usually stay after school to complete her work at this library. The spaces are very comfortable and conducive to studying. I also will work remote from this location on occasion that I want to change environment. Love it!
A Saturday visit to the Joint TCC-VB Library. Beautiful day. Not many people inside. Very cool inside temp, bring a jacket. Love the library on a Saturday afternoon. I find me a seat in a comfortable location with a good window view. I read Kindle books from my Amazon tablet. I walk the all aisles reading brief passages from many books on the shelves. I find that digital media lacks the power of the physical copy. The TCC-VB Library is a exceptional resource for educational advancement, meetings, and idea sharing. Update: The Joint TCC-VB continues to be an exceptional place for study and self-learning. Create your own college degree program. Free, no cost. All learners and seekers are invited.
I love this beautiful work of architecture. It's also fresh and clean. You can secure rooms for study and the staff are very kind and helpful.
So with kempsville temporary library being closed and the actual kempsville library closes I had to go here to get some books I had on hold....annoyed at first, BUT what a beautiful library! Open floor plan, clean! They even have giant chess and giant checkers you can play. Will definitely be back to enjoy more thoroughly. There is even a Starbucks here to purchase drinks from and coca cola vending machines....all of this on the first floor. look forward to coming back and seeing the rest of the library
New and shiny, with many meeting rooms, lots of community, which my family attends weekly, sometimes daily. They have various games and boards games for kids too, arts and craft activities and even opera. A great place to spend time with the family and learn something new.
Beautiful library, perfect place to get some work done in a quiet and peaceful environment. 10/10!
As I walked in the Asian female at the front desk gave me a mean look. She doesn't need to be at the front desk! The security guard isn't professional either.
Children’s room inside library is filled with activities, board games, coloring craft supplies, puzzles, and various learning tools.
