My teenage son started training here through a recommendation from one of his friends and it is been an amazing experience! He has gained a solid foundation of confidence while also developing resilience and just having fun. The Senseis and coaches ensure that students are challenged, execute proper technique; they also design drills to properly test application. After watching my son's classes and then seeing adults come in for training, I decided to get in on the fun and join! This school and organization has helped me grow as a person mentally and physically, I would highly recommend to anyone!
I joined Tiger Schulmann MMA north plainfield with the intent to lose weight, and to feel strong. With less than 3 months since I started, I am already seeing results. The atmosphere is always welcoming, clean and supportive. I look forward to attending my classes every week.
A year into my journey at Tiger Schulmann’s, I dropped from 215 pounds to 180. It’s a fun, intense workout and everything I’ve learned here hits all the fundamentals for protecting myself and my loved ones. The instructors are all friendly and knowledgeable, and are always willing to answer questions. Facilities are cleaned daily and kept in perfect condition.
This is by far my favorite place. I started here many years ago training for myself and then life happened. When coming back many years later, it was to enroll my daughter, who at the time was 6 now 8. Having seen how they worked with the kids years ago, I knew this was where I wanted her to be. They teach life lessons, talk about bullying, have so much patience, treat everyone with respect, and are so encouraging. Of course watching my daughter excel on the mat convinced me to sign up again. The time on the mat builds your confidence and allows you to focus on yourself and personal goals. I couldn’t be happier with the decisions I’ve made for my daughter and I. Highly recommend!!

I cannot recommend TS North Plainfield highly enough. It has been such a positive experience and not just in terms of fitness but in mindset. The Team makes it clear we are a family and we are really only competing against ourselves. They are clearly experts but what sets them apart is how seriously they take the growth of their students from the little tigers to the teens to the adults in the program.
This place continues to challenge and grow, myself and my daughter. Whether it's the jiu jitsu or kickboxing training, we are both physically and mentally challenged with each class. The senseis create a dynamic atmosphere for safe disciplined learning of martial art techniques which provide confidence and strength for us. It's a tight family feeling that can't be matched at any gym, and why we continue to go weekly for almost 10 years now!
I just enroll my son in TGSMA I see I lot change on him he is in love with the school and I even more the staff are great persons
I had the opportunity to have my 7yr old daughter join TSMA. She took pride in learning Martial Arts.There, she learned to defend her self against offenders. To add on to that, she also learned lessons that pertained to real life situations. The staff as a whole are great people too. I would definatly suggest attending TSMA.
I can’t say enough great things about this place. I was a student years ago and I knew then that once I had kids this was the place that I wanted to bring them. The Sensei’s, Joshu’s, and coaches are so amazing and great with the kids and adults. Watching my daughter excel here has been so rewarding to watch and even inspired me to get back on the mat. The people here are truly amazing. If you’re not going here, what are you waiting for? Call and get in for a class…you won’t be disappointed!!
