Four associates on the floor. One person working the register and over ten people in line. When confronted, the associates said they'll get someone on the cash register as soon as possible. They never did. I'll never return to this location. Good thing I put extra time on the meter since I wasted most of my time in this store because they couldn't allocate their employees resourcefully
Okay so I am solely rating this particular tillys store because I have NEVER had any other issues with any other tillys store. I tried to exchange a red tag pair of pants for a dress because I didn’t like the way the jeans fit. I was told my another tillys store manager that I would be able to do store credit but didn’t have the time to look around so I waited to exchange them. Then I was in the area for this store and finally had the time to browse around and have an idea of what I would want to buy with the store credit as that’s what I was told I would receive in return for the red tag item. When going up to the register I had an official receipt of my online order, the pair of pants that were in perfect condition, and a dress that was full price as I was planning on paying the difference. I was told by an employee that because it was red tag and I had bought it online during quarantine I wasn’t able to do an exchange but she walkied over the who I assumed to be the manager. The manager told be that it would be final sale which I have NEVER been told that red tag items you can’t exchange. I understand that red tag items can’t be fully returned but that wasn’t what I was asking for. I was literally going to buy another item that was full price and was a more expensive item. I would also understand if I wasn’t able to exchange the item if it were under garmets, sunglasses, or swim apparel but this was just a pair of pants that has literally been sitting in its original packaging for two months. Again I have never had a problem with exchanging red tag apparel. Instead the male manager told me “you can try going to the store that told you that you can do the exchange.” I work retail so I know any return/exchange hurts the stores numbers so to be it felt as if they didn’t want to hurt their own sales. At the time of the incident I was with a loved one who we both waited about 10 minutes in line and experienced the mess with me. We now know to NEVER come back to this store and to let other individuals that we know that they are better off shopping at another tillys store. I would rather drive further to get to another tillys store with better customer service then go to the closer one with bad service. There’s nothing worse then getting terrible customer service and spreading the word to others of how you were treated. Treat a customer bad and that customer is more likely going to tell 10 other people of how they were treated. Treat a customer good and they’re likely to tell one other person. And now reading at the reviews I’m not the only one that has had problems with returns/exchanges at this store. Expect a customer complaint as I will be contacting corporate/customer service.
The manager “Cloe” or however you spell her name at the Victoria Gardens store did not give us the time of day. Tried to return an item and flat out said it smells like it’s been washed. Never assume, simply ask if it has been worn. I had the tag to the item and just because it was not attached it was not able to be exchanged for something that I did want to buy, I mean, can’t you scan the tag to make sure it matches the product?
Store is nice, walked by and figured i would look at some shoes. The prices were pretty high, so i decided to look elsewhere. My wife needed to go to kohls for some kitchen stuff and it happen to be across from the shoes. I found most of the same converse and addidas there for almost half the price! I literally bought 2 pairs of shoes exact same brand and style for the same price as one pair at Tilly's. Needless to say i will never be going to buy shoes there.
The staff is a joke. Spent too much here with no help, jusr one register opened. Long lines, girls on the floor on their phones and ignoring you when you ask about another person being on the register. Some of them acting like they're folding clothes
Whoever is the manager there should be fired. The entire line concept before paying for your item is absurd. Nowhere does it mention where to get in line and how the racks are situated it looks like a line for each register. Fire the manager!
Paul is a very nice employee but when I tried to return an item that they said I could exchange for store credit 3 months ago, this red head girl started yelling at me and I’m just 13 but she was being very rude.
the store is nice and so is the staf, but the clothes are expensive and low quality. I won't be returning here, but for someone looking for the brands here it might be good
I always come here. A little pricey but cute clothes!
