Timber Lanes Bowling Alley

One of our new favorite bowling alleys. Small and quaint with a lot of charm. Super friendly staff. Good beer/drink selection and you can order in food. Small so recommend making a reservation ahead of time. Also have to keep your own score which was a fun add-on to learn how to do! Looking forward to heading back.

You feel like you're taking a step back in time. You have a sheet that you write your score on, there is no screen. I really enjoyed bowling here! It's cash only, it has a bar but no food. Make reservations before hand as it doesn't have many lanes and it fills up fast. Very cool place if you enjoy bowling!

True old school bowling alley. We had a great girl's night on a Friday. Great price. Bare bones. So be ready to tally up your scores. Nice place to go if you're feeling a stomach.

An iconic Chicago tavern that had the brilliant idea of swapping out the pool table for an 8-lane bowling alley. Genius. Great vibe; comfortable and friendly. My wife and I bowled for an hour, split a six-pack, traded some songs on the juke and chatted with some truly affable chaps - all for about $40 bucks. Solid.

This neighborhood gem brings both locals and bowling enthusiast to this location! We just hosted a party here and the management team is great and very accommodating! Fully stocked bar cash and food can be brought in! Consider this your next gathering or party! We love support our local community and will be back!

A quaint little bowling alley with such good character; no digital scores, a jukebox, darts, and a few bowling lanes. Super chill and lowkey but still lots of fun! I extremely recommend this for college students and non college students looking for the next place to hit up. Other places were over the top expensive per game per person, but this place hits all of the points: a low price, quiet, fun, music choices, and a step away from digital bowling alleys. The staff is also willing to answer any questions, super welcoming, and kind! I'm definitely planning on becoming a regular after a superb experience

Had the best time at this bowling alley I can’t wait to come back! The workers and patrons were all so kind and the atmosphere was so welcoming. Affordable prices and we loved the count sheets for manual scoring! Great prices, music available TouchTunes and made for a perfect night out. So happy bowling is finally open again after covid!! They had the lanes sectioned off nicely so we felt comfortable with social distancing and there is a rack for the balls to be cleaned after each use. Highly recommend this place and I can’t wait to come back!

Amazing old school bowling alley! Cash only and great prices. The staff is phenomenal and so are the lanes! Love the old school wood lanes, which have been recently shaved and the approaches. Ball returns are new and most importantly they have an Lane walker oil machine from Kegel. They can put down. Sport patterns with enough notice and is the perfect setting for a small tournament or league requesting sport conditions! It's the perfect facility for the old school and new all in one package! This establishment caters to recreational and serious bowlers and just aims to wow and take care of all their guests. Definitely a Chicago hot spot that just gives you more than what you expect!

Great neighborhood place for a game of 10 pin. Bar is friendly and price is right. Management is amazing and friendly. If you want to bowl you should call ahead to book a lane.
