A simple, but very nice and friendly place.
If you want a good golf experience, do yourself a favor and select a different course than Timber Point. I had been going here a couple times a year for years and received unbelievably bad customer service today. My father and I had a tee time at 11:30 A.M. We were running a little late and arrived at the starter at 11:38 A.M. The employee freaked out and spoke arrogantly to us - berating us for being eight minutes late at a time when there was not high volume. He told us to wait and he would accommodate us when possible. By 12:07 P.M., we were still waiting and it turns out he forgot about us. This would have made sense if we were say thirty minutes late, but this was unacceptable. When I escalated the issue to the course PGA Pro, the starter had denied ever speaking to us. This is the last time I will visit this course.
Went for a golf outing with lunch and dinner. Enjoy the 19 hole. Great helpful staff from clubhouse to catering staff.

Jim from ProShop was rude and obnoxious. I purchased a green Key card for my son's next cubscout campout. I know the course is fair priced, but being unprofessional to customers is bad business.

I hosted a Memorial Golf Outing here last month. I have never organized an outing before. I met with the Pro Andy C and this is the place you want to have your outing. He walked me through every step with ease.He counseled me on what it takes to put together a great event for everyone attending,and made it easy. Cost is unbeatable compared to anywhere on the island. The course is one of if not best kept secret in Suffolk County. Great shape beautiful views,full bar at the turn. Could not have been a better experience.Thank you to the staff at the Timber Point Golf Course.Professional,Courteous and really easy to work with.
Very nice scenic course with forgiving fairways. Unfortunately the day we played it was cloudy, foggy, and very windy Like playing in the English Moores but very enjoyable. Will definitely play again.
Best golf course on Long Island!! The view of the Great South bay is tremendous. 2nd and 3rd holes are spectacular. Course is in great shape and staff is always friendly.
