The owner is very nice and helpful. Location is not ideal - off a narrow winding road into a even narrower, winding and much road elevation. No road noise. Campground very wooded. Sites are gravel not level. The the area is minimal size - no grass. The campground is clean. Has fire pit and picnic tables. I did not use the public bathroom/shower. The roads in the campground are narrow. All in all a nice place. I would come back if nothing else available.
The campground is tucked back in the forests like a little camping gem. All the sites are very well kept and surrounded by trees for some privacy. I especially appreciated the cleaning stations and the well kept facilities. The family that runs it is very nice and welcoming. Highly recommend for a vacation in this beautiful area. Nearby activities: So many activities available in the surrounding area. We went sailing, hiking, rafting and driving around the fruit loop! Food & drinks: Endless breweries and wineries!
Awesome, quiet, secluded RV park. Friendly owner, big dog area, great topography for kids to explore. Stayed in April and roof got pretty covered from trees. Not sure if stained or not, need to check. Glad to see recycling bins. Would definitely stay here again.Hotel highlightsQuiet, Kid-friendly
What a gem!! Don't be discouraged with the 3 mile uphill drive. Watch the signs, some are a little overgrown. This truly is one of the best parks we have found. No gorge wind. No trains! Conveniently located for gorge exploring. Awesome staff. Did I mention it is so quite? Level gravel sites. Lots of trees. Loved our stay.Service: 5/5
Great little camp ground. The staff are super nice and helpful. There are lots of things to do around here. Wind mountain and Dog Mountain trails are great go to locations.Service: 5/5
We were so excited about this campground. Friendly staff, clean bathhouse, clear tent sites, and beautiful surroundings. I would recommend!Rooms: 5/5
We arrived after closing without a reservation, and the owners were so accommodating. We have a 38’ Class A motorhome and they told us that if we were good backing in, to go to the site that would fit us. We’re experienced driving this rig, so there was no issue getting into the site and we had room to maneuver it well. We took the Bridge of the Gods on the advice of other reviewers and it was a great route. The showers are hot and clean, the owners are really nice, and the campground is very quiet and beautifully maintained. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Very nice campground, lots of trees and space between camp sites. Friendly staff.Rooms: 5/5
We enjoyed our 2 week stay here in our 43 foot fifth wheel. Pros: good hook ups, level sites, spacious sites, green space around, dumpsters in multiple locations, nice owners, quiet, quick Amazon package delivery, close to good hiking, wildlifedeer and wild turkeys, lots of trees Cons: the roads are gravel and steep be sure you have 4wd. Although, I feel like when you call to make your reservation and tell the owner what your unit is and what you're looking for they will appropriately place you and forewarn you. We crossed the bridge of the gods fine in our rig. Be aware there is a toll. We enjoyed checking out Hood River, white Salmon, and Stevenson. We hiked dog mountain and the wildflowers were beautiful flowers in bloom until the end of June usually, fee to park, hard steep hike. There is a grocery store in Stevenson that should have everything you need. We loved backwoods brewery - family friendly, good pizza, good IPA
Great place! Nice people well accommodated with full hookups and great owners!Rooms: 5/5
