Incredible vegan sushi platter! Best we’ve ever had! Wish they had a location in Victoria. We can’t wait to go back tomorrow for a visit. Here are some photos from the last times we went. Thanks for the incredible food!

Food was amazing and service was fast! Definitely a must when in Port Alberni. The outdoor exterior could use some work, but the inside was nice and cozy.

Absolutely the best Sushi on Vancouver Island.... the lunchtime Sashimi is my absolute favourite ... if you drive by its your loss ... As good or better than anywhere in Vancouver I highly recommend this place

Best Sushi On The Island From the outside the place brought concern, but once entering the food and service was bar none. Delicious and high quality sushi with nice presentation and a great price. This was certainly an unexpected find and will be coming back every time I am in Port Alberni. Get a pint of the Swedish Gymnast to wash it all down.

If you have any allergies then don’t eat here!! We have a anaphylactic sesame allergy and have requested no sesame seeds on our sushi. Not once but on three separate occasions we have discovered that our food was covered and I mean covered in sesame seeds! Blatant disrespect and putting us In danger. I cannot trust this restaurant anymore!

Stopped by for takeout after visiting the hole in the wall hike nearby. The food is absolutely delicious and the sushi is super fresh. Lunch specials are an amazing value! I'm from Vancouver where there are pretty high standards for Japanese food, and I can confidently say that this is better than most sushi that you'll find in Vancouver. The outside looks a little sketchy but the food is so good, highly recommended!

Great food and service. Exceptional sashimi.

Everything was amazing! The food is delicious and the price is incredible. The service was pretty good. Don’t be intimidated by the outside. It’s a hidden gem. The exterior can be scary, doesn’t have a proper sign, we thought the small door was the motel reception.

Good portions, the bento box was decent. Rice of sushi was loosely packed, and the fried noodles were not fried and it was soupy. Confronted server about this and she told us that's just the way it is.

Always great sushi. Awesome lunch specials. Definitely a hidden gem!Food: 5/5
