Becky and Neal are fantastic people and great business owners. I bought an axle from them and would not hesitate to do business with them again. You could tell just by talking to them that they were passionate about what they do. Can’t say enough positive things. Thanks guys!!
My husband Neal and I own this shop. We moved out of the Denver area in March of 2018, and no longer publicly disclose our location, and therefore, Google no longer lets us interact with our own business page. In an effort to still address some recent reviews here: 1 Ne0p1aSm 33 - this person is not now, nor has he ever been our customer. We don't have a Marcus who works here, it's just Neal and I. We also don't install customer-supplied parts, and as stated above, haven't even had a public business where we take work like this in over a year and a half now. Literally the wrong business! 2 Cliff Hall - has also never been our customer. He is friends with a customer we did work for a couple of times in 2018 where the relationship became contentious, and a refund was ultimately issued. Cliff and a few other friends of this person decided to pop back up today and slander us on multiple online outlets. Lovely. Neal and I have always, and will always stand by our work. We have served literally over 3,000 customers in the past 10 years. We want to take this moment to thank our amazing and loyal customers who know the quality of our work and have patronized us for these years. You are the ones who make this worth it. God bless.
Neal did mechanical work on two of my Grand Cherokee's, a 98 and an 04 a couple years ago. Everything went smooth and perfect. Very nice and genuine people. I still have the 98 with the Dana 44a, rebuild has been perfect. Sadly the 04 got totalled, but the transmission ran perfect before then. Cheers!
I have trusted my 4runner with Neal multiple times so far, and will be back. I have had all of my belts replaced, the clutch replaced, and he was able to diagnose a fried computer after I had taken it into a dealership where it was misdiagnosed. Neal has done quality work and is an honest guy. I would brush off the review of him not having the parts as he said he would. He found my computer rebuilt and saved me $800 in the process by taking his time to find the part in Texas for me versus buying a new one for $1200. He didn't charge me for the time he spent searching for what was in my budget. I used him because I was referred and have now referred my friends as well.
Timbuckthree is an amazing jeep shop that treats their customers right. If you're looking for a good place with great work look no further. Becky and Neal are amazing and they like to fix instead of just changing out the parts. They did a great job on my jeep and i cant be any more happy. They've got my business without a doubt.
Neal at Timbukthree is the only shop in town who would do some custom work on my Jeep LJ. Not only did he do a fantastic job, he stuck exactly to the price quoted before he started. General Manager Becky kept me up-to-speed with my Jeep's progress the whole way, and I couldn't be happier. This shop is friendly, professional, and does great work.
Just bought a new to me 95 ZJ from Neal, and know that I've made a good decision. He treats customers the way they want to be treated... He looks you in the eye, and deals in firm handshakes... I am confident in the work he performed on this Jeep, and am very impressed with him as a person. He stands behind his work, and let's it speak for itself. I'll recommend his services to all of my friends, and suggest that you go through him for all of your offroading needs... 5 stars isn't enough!
This shop is a joke! I made an appointment to have some parts installed two weeks in advance and I paid them a deposit. They called and cancelled my appointment last minute the night before. As requested dropped the truck a week later loaded up all the parts and dropped off the car at 9am they had the truck until 4pm and hadn't started the job at all. Talked the the manager Marcus who made up every excuse in the book. They asked me to bring it back another week later. This is now my third appointment and Marcus called and told me they refused to work on my truck because they didn't know how to complete the job because it was a Nissan! Now they have my money and I won't complete the job. THIS SHOP IS A JOKE! How does a 4x4 shop not know how to install shocks and struts is beyond me. NOT HAPPY! Waste of my time!
This shop should not be trusted for engine work. I purchased a “rebuilt” 4.0 for my Jeep. I don’t live in Colorado so I arranged to have the engine delivered to me through third party. Upon receiving it I completed the install. Immediately I noticed coolant leaking from the head. I called the shop and explained what was happening and was given the answer that apparently one of his usual employees who does the engine rebuilds wasn’t doing his job properly and was fired so I must have gotten one of his crappy builds. Me being frustrated at just doing all this work only to find out that the engine was bad I demanded that they fix this problem. The shop arranged to pick up my Jeep from out of state and take it back to their shop for a “new” rebuilt engine to be installed by them. The Jeep was delivered back to me and upon inspection I could not get any oil pressure reading from my gauges. I decided to install an aftermarket gauge straight to the oil filter for a easy fix. Fast forward now approximately 10,000 miles of regular driving no off road driving at all and I hear something break in the engine as I lose most of my power. Now I have to figure out what’s wrong with my “quality timbukthree engine” and possibly toss even more money into fixing their crappy work.
I was a little worried at first... Rebuilt Jeep Transfer case off a craigslist ad... But I stopped by the shop, met the owner, made an appointment and got it done. They found that the front CV joint was going out... they replaced it for only a little bit more while they were there. I can't remember the last time that I was this impressed by an Auto Mechanic... They did the work, on-time, as promised, at VERY REASONABLE Prices!
