I’m a former patient of Dr. Collins and he is AMAZING! He made sure I had perfect teeth! He’s truly the best of the best! Super professional & has an incredible staff that is so loving and kind! The office environment is also comforting and welcoming! 10/10 recommend! If I could give more than 5 stars I’d give 10! I wish he didn’t specialize in pediatric dentistry because I would definitely still be his patient!
I've taken my kids to Dr Collins since they were very little and we have loved the dentist and staff! My oldest is 10 and she lost her baby teeth already so when I scheduled her cleaning I was told they no longer can see her because she lost her baby teeth. Shes still a child! That upset me so we changed dentists. Great staff but I am not happy with them.
My 7 year old daughter was suppose to be a patient of Dr. Collins.. I also have a 16 week old baby. I am the type of parent that looks at reviews for days before I send my family any where. I had scheduled her new patient appointment and missed it on accident not by lack of taking my child. When you schedule they fail to mention how they will not reschedule your appointment if you miss it. My daughter is 7, she seems to be getting her first cavity ever. This isn’t her fault nor should anyone be turned away for events that occur out of their control. I spoke with “Kendra” who I basically pleaded to and In turn she hung the phone up on me. Great people in this world and you wonder why we have some much negativity going around. Starts with people like this. So if your planning on going here, don’t miss your intitial appointment or they won’t reschedule you. Policy first !! What happened to patient care first??
We LOVE Dr. Collins and his staff! The waiting area is extremely kid friendly with games and toys. Dr. Collins and the dental hygienists are so soft spoken and make the experience as fun and relaxed as possible. I wish he would see adults because I would go once a week!
My daughter had an appt on October 23; had made the appointment in August. Got there and the receptionist basically stated there was no appointment and acted like I made the appointment myself. She finally admitted she herself had made the appointment for us and she had not entered it into the system. No apologies. No "let me work you in." THANK God there is another pediatric dentist in town. My daughter will NEVER step foot in Collin's office again!
The entire staff are great with children and they thoroughly explain every detail. My daughter really enjoyed her visit there and now she is no longer scared to go to the dentist. They gave her a token for a bouncy ball and gave her a frozen toothbrush and toothpaste. I highly recommend them for any child.
I had a horrendous experience with Dr. Collins. His staff was pleasant but after ranting to me about another person's bad review on facebook which made me uncomfortable we finally got to discuss my sons teeth at which point, I started asking questions about the options and the procedureI feel most parents are going to ask questions in order to make an informed decision. Dr. Collins became upset and defensive when I asked questions and told me if I was so uncomfortable that I should go somewhere else. I was just expressing my concerns as a parent in a civil manner and instead of comforting me and assuring me he would take care of my child, he refused to treat him. I was very polite until he insisted I go elsewhere. I am extremely displeased with the way I was treated by this so called "professional" and do not reccomend him at all. Again the staff was super nice and pleasant. The hygienist was great with my son but Dr. Collins seemed extremely discourteous from the very beginning of our encounter.
One of the worst dentists I've ever had the displeasure of allowing my kid to see. He priced us some enormous price for kids caps and when we went back to get them done he changed his mind and said he wouldn't cap his teeth. He tried getting in mine and my wifes business, hes just an all around idiot. Oh, and he had his nurse tell me the bad news. He couldn't even talk to me himself, even after I asked that he do so. Horrible. Dont go here.
My daughter is super shy and was completely scared of going to the dentist because of tv. After her appointment she was completely happy and said that she had fun. They had a lot there to entertain her and everyone was very friendly.
Great dental hygienists but thats where it end . Scheduling is horrendous and staff was rude when calling to inform me that they could no longer take my insurance. when i asked where to go next because my daughter was scheduled for a filling/sedation appt next week, I was spoken to very rudely and hung up on After I posted about this on FB, many other HORROR stories about him and sedation came to light and I'm certain that this was a blessing in disguise!
