If you are thinking about getting braces for your child. DO NOT come here. I never had a problem with my kid's regular dental appointments. I regret getting my daughter's braces from here. They only have one, yes, one orthodontist for both locations. My daughter got her braces in June of this year. We are going into September, and she has only had two follow-ups. They will push your appointment back, even though they had a waiting list for the orthodontist. I finally got an appointment for September 5th. Well, guess what? Now, it's pushed back. I have asked to speak to the owner but have not received the information. They shouldn't even offer braces with one undependable orthodontist. At this point, I want to cancel this agreement and go somewhere else. Or stop paying altogether. This is the worst experience I have ever had. The front desk girls in the garland location are excellent, and I know it's not their fault. I wish I could say that about the Sunnyvale location. I called them, upset that the wires were poking my daughter. They had the nerve to tell me I needed to wait until the orthodontist returned with an attitude. I had to talk to the friendly office manager, who said I could come in the morning so they could cut the wire.
GET TO YOUR APPOINTMENT EARLY GUYS! I see a lot of reviews with “I waited so long” and times I bring my child in I over hear parents coming into their appointments either right on time or a little later. When ever we come we are always 15 minutes early and we normally get in right on time if not 5 min past our time. As far as the staff.. I have so much appreciation for them as they are always so sweet and gentle with my child. He get a bit of anxiety when he sits in the chair but every time the staff knows how to calm him. I have had one issue before in the past with one of the front desk lady who seemed to have an attitude but this was once in the last 3 years . Bad days happen and I understand that : the facility is always clean and I love the small touches they add to keep the kids comfortable. I can’t recommend this place enough.
Dynamic team! I bring my 4 children in for appointments here, and there’s never an issue! Whether it’s a simple cleaning or major dental work, they always make my children feel comfortable. The staff is sweet, welcoming, and patient. 10 out of 10 - would recommend
I took my 5 year old for routine cleaning. While there, I was told she needed sealants and dental extractions. I agreed to the services and paid ahead for it to be done under nitrous oxide. My daughter is very sweet patient that doesn’t complain, but I did not want her to endure the procedures wide awake. They placed the mask/circuit on her that delivers nitrous/oxygen. During the sealant placement she was squirming a lot. The sealants part was done. My daughter was wide awake and scared. Then the dentist walked in to do the extractions. She began injecting local anesthetic in my daughters mouth. My daughter was moving around quite a bit, groaning, and was tearing up. I asked if the Nitrous was on. The dentist and assistant fumbled with the nitrous knob, mumbled amongst themselves. The dentist moved to proceed with the extractions. I could clearly see that the Nitrous was not on. I asked again if the nitrous was on. The dentist asked, “Oh you want it with Nitrous?” I said I did. That is what I paid for. My daughter was being traumatized and crying that it hurt. The assistant left the room. When she returned she told the dentist that there was a problem with the nitrous tank. The dentist and assistant left the room. When the assistant returned, she told the dentist that there was a problem with the nitrous tank. The dentist and assistant left the room. Minutes later they returned, actually turned the nitrous on to a very low concentration, and proceeded with the extraction. My daughter cried the whole time saying she was hurting. I am an anesthesia provider. I know how people respond to nitrous oxide. I know that in some instances you ask patients to “hang in there” and just get through a procedure because it is what is safest for the patient. That is not how you treat a young pediatric patient. To pretend to administer, document, and charge for an anesthetic that is not given is fraudulent practice.
The staff are great, but every time we go we have to wait 45 minutes to an hour to see the dentist after a cleaning. It’s so hard to entertain a toddler for that long. If they don’t have enough doctors to see that many kids, then they shouldn’t be scheduling that many appointments at a time.
I would like to shout out and recommend Tiny Teeth Pediatric Dentistry in Sunnyvale on Beltline Rd. I took my 7 month old in today for his first dental appointment and had such a phenomenal experience! Dr. Anya Preece is the dentist there and she was absolutely AMAZING, knowledgeable, professional and kind spirited. Very gentle and child- oriented. My second observation was the AMAZING office set up they have. There's literally a real life loft "treehouse" in the waiting room, my inner child was reignited immediately. If looking for dental care for your littles, I highly doubt this office will disappoint!! They also accept a wide variety of insurance. In case anyone is wondering
Very clean office with friendly staff. The person who made my appointment was attentive and very helpful. We are specialy grateful for Dr Preece. She was sweet , kind, and gentle with our child. She made sure our daughter had the best experience possible! We definitely recommend this practice.
Got here early to be on time for my kids appointment yet they still don’t take you at the time you’re scheduled . The dentist doesn’t even sit down with the patient and parent to see x-rays and check their teeth , and he tries to get you to do procedures that are completely unnecessary! He was saying my kid needed cavity fillings , a tooth extraction and a silver cap , and for these procedures the dentist mentioned two different types of anesthetics but he suggested we chose the strongest one “in case “ my child where to become nervous and restless, when my child in the room was clearly calm the whole time during her cleaning and x rays . Not to mention staff is unprofessional and rude . i decided to change my kid back to their old dentist , who needed the xrays that they took at tiny teeth and the staff at tiny teeth gave me a hard time just because i wanted to send my kids old dentist the x rays and it took days of me calling and having to physically go to the office to finally get them sent. yet when i took my kid to their old dentist for a second opinion he said none of that was needed and only had one small cavity ! . I don’t suggest going here , these people don’t care about your kids they only want your money .
Hi, I wish there were where I cannot put no stars likes because I was very disappointment with their services. They have me waiting for two hours the second time I visit then the third time they had me waiting an hour and a half. I really cannot deal with this place anymore. I don’t recommend anybody to come here it’s overcrowded and they have kids playing rough, I will no longer be going there just letting you know my experience and another lady that came the same time as me. She has been waiting for a long time to.
I’m so sad. My kids have been seeing Dr. Preece for some time now and we all have loved her gentle, loving touch, but I just do not have time to wait over an hour for appointments anymore. Many offices will call when they’re running this behind. The last three times we have been there we have waited an hour or more. Today I ended up leaving after an hour. Would have been better if the front desk was a little more informative. A simple “sorry we are running a little behind today and you may have to wait ___ min” would go a long way. Dental offices run behind occasionally which I am sympathetic towards, but every single time? I think a little work on their scheduling would help the happiness of patients. Unfortunately, I will need to try somewhere else to get us in as I have 4 kids and refuse to wait this long anymore. Would love to come back if scheduling can get figured out.
