A perfectly preserved piece of Indiana history. Bring your family and tour the sacred grounds remembering the Native Americans and Frontier Soldiers who fought here. There are smaller grave markers surrounding the incredible battlefield monument where the combatants fell. The museum is on the battlefield monument grounds and a tour can be completed in about an hour. The gift shop has many nice gifts that we purchased at very reasonable prices.
This was a very beautiful place. There are ample picnic tables to sit and eat at. There is even a grill. There is a water also available. Restrooms are located on the outside of building. We didn't do the museum, that costs $7 each. We drove down to the other site, Prophetstown, but that is located inside a state park which requires $8 per vehicle entry so we didn't go in. A nice place to stop and take a break if you are driving along the interstate.
It's always very peaceful and always has good scenery but sad that the trail was closed due to construction when you want to take your dogs on a hike and find out your Trails closed way sooner than you'd like it to be it stinks but the trail will be back open and we will be back on it again!!! Clean, neat, informative. Museum is good enough to hold kids attention, grounds pristine. Nature center to left is worth a look. To right is cool locked up church with old graveyard. Monument and stones where solider s fell is moving. Enough room for kids to run.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNoPrice for adult entry$6–10

Nicely maintained. Love the historical markers. Love the History here. Buildings were closed so I couldnt see the museum was MLK Day they could have at LEAST has Washrooms open! Nowhere to go pee.
Very cool seeing the history of Tippecanoe..and Tyler too. However, I didnt see anything actually referencing him at all. We only saw the grounds so we were too late to see in the building..maybe it was in there? Glad we stopped.
I absolutely love the trails here! I spent 3 hours walking all the way to Burnetts road! We walked a total of 5 miles there and back. It was also really awesome to take the rc crawler with us. I would highly recommend walking the trails.
Beautiful peaceful setting that reminds you of the efforts to settle this land. Take the trail down by the stream. It is too easy to forget how beautiful the midwest is.
