Love live music? You're gonna love this place if you do. Tipsy music pub will become one of the most well known music listening rooms in the area. Stop in and check out a show.
First visit left me with mixed opinions. The venue is nice, the food is tasty and reasonably priced, and our server was attentive and very nice. There were 8 bands playing for a fundraiser so the sound varied from bad to loud. However, the bands that knew how to coach the audio tech sounded good. Since it is the first visit I am not sure if the sound mixing issues are normal, or just because they had so many bands playing. I think another visit would give me a better idea of the overall sound stage.
Great venue but the service was horrible and the food was mediocre at best. Nachos only had chopped chicken and a little bit of salsa on them. For $10 I would have expected some lettuce, tomatoes, jalapenos, beans maybe. Big disappointment, and it took about 40 minutes each time we needed a beer. I will say that with some attention to the details, this will be a great spot.
Much needed music venue in downtown! Had dinner there last night, super crispy pizza with a great salad. Lots to choose from on the menu and a great bar. Good happy hour prices!
Got a sneak preview and this new music venue is going to rock. Can't wait for the Grand Opening. Look forward to being a regular and enjoying the great live music. Good luck to the new owners and thanks for supporting the Village.
Great music and atmosphere. Waitress was friendly and checked on the table frequently. Shrimp Po Boy Taco was tasty; but was better with hot sauce. Slaw had too much dressing
Great little new spot for some music in the West Village of Greenville. This is an up and coming area and I think Tipsy has it nailed! The service is a little slow but the people are great! Grab a little food and drink and hear some great local music.
Good service. Decent choice of beers as well. They can certainly add some more screens but apart from that I like this place. Ben Taylor trio is a pretty good jazz band
Good music, the food... Poorly executed. Went for brunch and loved the folk music but the meal was lacking. Slow service, cheap champagne, my meal was missing the side of eggs, and servings were small compared to local competition.
The service was incredible. We had quite a large party and our server was attentive, fast, and courteous. Truly exceptional. The music was great as well. Highly recommended!
