This use to be the place to get your hair braided in Tacoma. This shop has declined drastically in service, sanitation, and work ethic. Despite the dirtiness of the salon the stylist are lazy and will decline services they dnt feel like doing and there is no honoring appointments. BUYER BEWARE

I enjoy getting my hair done here! Mariam usually does my hair and she always does a great job. Definitely recommend coming here.

You know, if you go to this shop fully aware that it is a family-owned, traditional African hair braiding shop then it's really not bad. They did a good job at a reasonable price. Granted, we caught them on lunch break, so we had to wait a bit before getting our hair done, but once they started, it was quick and simple. I'll be returning just because the service was as expected and the results were better.

This place was amazing! They did such a good job on my girls hair. They even got her in early on top of taking the apt short notice. 3 hours and done. Love this place! Excellent work, thank you Ladies!!!

Horrible service do not recommend at all. I have been serviced here a few times and only came back out of being desperate. But after the last visit I will not be back. Rats have ran out on numerous occasions. The service they provide does not match up to what they are charging. 150 for 6 straight back braids? … on natural hair? And has be bring own products. And then keeps them! The Braiders are never on time for their own appointments, and they don’t even open during posted business hours. The picture where i have on burgundy is my hair before i went to this place and as u can see i dnt have a baldspot in the middle of my head the other pictures are pictures that has been taken literally 5 and 7 days after my hair was dne and because she braided my hair so tight i now have a baldspot in the middle of my head in the front and back .... AND OVER THE PHONE SHE TOLD MY FRIEND 180 FOR BOX BRAIDS THEY FINSHED AND SPOKE IN THEIR LANGUAGE AND ENDED UP CHARGING MY FRIEND 220
