I like shopping here for men's fragrances and speciality food items. A great way to save money if you don't like paying mall prices.
Today while shopping I had a great experience with Salem. It was her first day she mentioned as her team member next to her helped her. She was dressed very well and very well spoken. She was pofessional and treated me with great customer service! I made sure to tell her she looked well and was doing a great job yo not let her managers get her down. The shift coordinator her tag said this was standing right behind her griping about the manager scheduled her wrong because she didn't put her availability sheet in the binder that she just shoved it somewhere. I find this extremely unprofessional to be speaking so loudly about her work issues that not only the customer but he new team member could hear. I can tell this disturbed Salem as well. Possibly if the 2 ladies would stop griping and work the manager would have more time. Good job Salem! And good luck! Possibly she should move up into management one day!
We have really bad experience with this brunch the manger was so mean we purchased a face mask treatment once we try to use it has really bad smell and we explained politely that to manger if she could exchanged it instead we ask for money refund for an expired product. She was so rude does not have experience how to talk with us we never get back there again it wasn’t even first time we had issues there. We would spend the money in somewhere we feel welcomed
Dear Google: please allow me to rate based upon different factors. Cleanliness Location Flow of Store Layout Product Diversity Product Size Availability Comparative Prices Check Out Process Professionalism / Employees I haven’t been in a T.J. Maxx in at least a decade. The last one I walked into different city, same state, was like a cross between an on the verge of bankruptcy Kmart and a generic Goodwill store that existed to move merchandise in and out with no thought to ambiance. I decided to visit the location nearest me because I wanted to know what all of buzz was around the name brand cosmetic products that they carried. My plan was to get in and out in 10 minutes no plan on purchasing. Uh. I was there for 45 minutes and I would have made a purchase if: a. I had more time. b. This store/location would have had more checkout options available more on this later. So about these beauty products...several name brands: Marc Jacobs, Anastasia of Beverly Hills, IT Cosmetics, Benefit, Becca, Milk, PUR, Urban Decay, Too Faced...99.9% of the items I saw were the exact same items that had recently gone on sale at Sephora and Ulta. Example: I purchased from Sephora a Marc Jacobs Beauty bronzer that normally retailed for $49. It was marked down to $34 at Sephora and at T.J.’s, it was under $20. I compared the lot number of my Sephora purchase with this much cheaper version, and they were manufactured within 3 months of each other. Sephora’s product was older. When you shop for beauty products in person in a department-like store, you can count on someone that got there before you to open up the product and place their grubby hands all over it. That was NOT the case at this T.J. Maxx. Let’s talk about the checkout process. Not good. I don’t know if this is how they’ve always done things or if the COVID thing changed their ways. There was literally one cashier and approximately 25 people in line. All were masked up. Anyway, if there’s one piece of advice I could give this store - invest in self-checkout options. We consumers like to get in and out quickly. The lack of options made me walk away from purchasing yesterday. I didn’t have hours to get through a line - anything beyond 15 minutes and I would be late to an appointment.
I had great experience with Salam so kind, sweet , dressed well, and knows how to handle problems. I hope she move up to be a manger.
I now have to dress like an adult for work so decided to come here. 5 outfits for 150$. I'd say that's dang good! I'll definitely be back!!! Name brand clothes for less than half the original price. Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Free the People heck yeah!
Amazing atmosphere, its always clean, and the employees are upbeat and eager to help.
The store was clean, organized and well stocked when we visited today. The employees were courteous and helpful.
Always watch what you buy, especially jeans. I bought a couple pairs because I’m in between sizes. Pieces of the zipper popped off, making the zipper unusable after just 3 hrs of wear. Not only did she refuse to return it, she said if she did, she would put them on the rack to sell again. Lesson learned. Never again TJMaxx. I’ll just spend better money on a company that will at least not intentionally sell defective merchandise.
Not nearly as good as it used to be. The used to have a huge selection of Polo, Tommy, and Nautica polo shirts. Now you're lucky if they have one color of each. I used to stop in here all the time but my visits are becoming less and less frequent because they never have anything.
