Dr. Hassan is a personable and caring dentist who has provided award-winning gentle dentistry within Florida, Maryland and Washington D.C. for the past 1 years. She is a trainer of sound dental practices and has managed multiple dental practices with licensures in Florida, Maryland and the District of Columbia. Dr. Hassan graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Howard University1997, College of Dentistry, Washington D.C., was a recipient of the Howard S. Fleming memorial Award for Dental Research, and has received multiple Table Clinic Awards throughout the Eastern United States. She then went on to further her education with an advance degree in general dentistry AEGD 1998 from Howard University
Dr. Hassan has extensive training in all phases of dentistry, but maintains special interest in Cosmetics, very fearful patients and Laser Assisted Periodontal Therapy (LAPT). She has vast training in Lumineers, mini dental implants, laser dentistry, dermal fillers, Nitrous Oxide (N20) and conscious sedation.
As a recipient of the Merton Vu Duckett Humanitarian Award, Dr. Hassan has a passion for helping others and volunteers her time and expertise yearly to medical and humanitarian missions including the Smile Brigades of Honduras and Guatemala. When she is not practicing her passion of cosmetic dentistry, her hobbies include design and crafts, yoga, traveling and outdoor activities.
