Went to this place with my coworkers for lunch. There were nine of us, but the place was fairly empty and it took the kitchen an hour to get our order out! A couple people in our group ordered salads, which arrived warm. They really need to update their online menu to match what they're actually offering. No one else had any issues with the food. I ordered a tortilla soup, which was delicious. Yeah, the waitresses were wearing short-shorts and tank tops, but it struck me as more of a kitschy costume. Bet it sucks for them in the winter. Super sweet? I don't know, they just seemed as friendly as any waitress should be. If you've only got a half-hour to an hour for lunch, definitely don't come here. But if you have a lot of time to kill, it'll probably be okay.
At 6:30 the restaurant was empty, which is never a good sign, the entire staff was what looked like 16 year old girls in Hooter's outfits, that had no idea or experience in customer service and I wouldn't expect them to, they're just kids- but where were the adults? I had looked at the menu online before going in, and decided I was going to get the Diablo Chicken Sandwich, which sounded awesome. What I got was a fairly under cooked chicken breast, with almost no seasoning or hot sauce, lettuce and tomato, and a bun. There were no green chili's or bacon. I would have let our server know but we didn't see her again until almost 20 minutes after she dropped off the food. My boyfriend ordered the chicken fried steak with white gravy and of course it came out with brown. The service and food was below mediocre, especially for the price. I wouldn't suggest eating here to anyone, and I'm positive I won't be coming back. There are a handful of good restaurants in the area, don't waste your time or money here.
Service was horrible. Hostesses seemed to care less about helping anyone. Our waitress was very slow and barely acknowledged us. Took 20 minutes to get 2 sodas and a water. She didn't bring plates for our appetizer and when i asked for some she just walked by and dropped them on the table without a word. Ordered 2 burgers very well done and the rib eye medium rare. Needless to say the burgers were very under cooked and the steak was extremely rare. Said it would take 13 minutes for new burgers. 30 minutes later they were OK. Fries with the steak were cold and the broccoli was terrible. The wife likes Toby Keith and I appreciate his support of the military, but unless there are some major changes at this establishment we will not be going back.
We were "greeted" and asked if we'd like to sit at the bar or at a table, and when we asked for a table, the hostess walked away and left us standing there awkwardly, not knowing if we were supposed to follow or not. She came back and sat us at a wet table. We ordered mozzarella sticks as an appetizer, which came out unseasoned and under cooked, served with "marinara sauce" nothing more than a plain, unseasoned tomato sauce. For dinner, we ordered Southern Fried Chicken Tenders and BBQ Chicken Breasts. The chicken tenders tasted like they had just come out of a bag from the freezer with no seasoning, not to mention they were small and we only got 4 for $10. The Freedom Fries also had little to no seasoning and no flavor. The BBQ chicken was not great either. Chicken breasts tasted like they also came frozen from a bag, and sauce was nothing special. Mashed potatoes were made from real potatoes but had no seasonings. To top it off, the waitstaff seemed pretty unconcerned. Our server would pass by and ask us how things were with no eye contact and without really stopping mid-walk. I don't think it would have mattered if we had said "Terrible" instead of "Okay." Bottom line: Food was not very good and service was poor. We won't be back.
The family and I went in for dinner on a Wednesday night, the place was not busy but the service was almost non existent. I ordered a sweet tea and got regular tea, not a big deal but disappointed none the less. After I looked over the menu I opted for the "Smoked ribs" let me tell you about those... They were THE most soggy un-flavorful never seen a smoker half rack of ribs I have EVER tasted. PLEASE for the love of god and country do NOT call your ribs "smoked" if you are boiling them, tossing them on a hot grill/grate for sear marks and saucing them. That is NOT how smoked ribs are done. If your wait staff wants to make a living they really should be more attentive to their tables. The food is obviously out of the control of the wait staff, and my tips would never reflect the quality of the food, but I do tip based on service. She was tipped because its the right thing to do, but it was not as much as it could have been. needless to say I was disappointed and it will be a long while before I return.
I have been here a couple times and it has become a dump. It took 45 minutes to get an appetizer.. On a slow night! I was never asked for a refill on my water. We moved from the bar to a table and never even got a waitress. The food has gotten worse. I used to love to get the smokehouse nachos and would be absolutely stuffed eating them with friends. Now the serving size feeds like 2 people. I'm very disappointed in what this bar has become. I will probably never come in again.
My boyfriend and I flew in from Anchorage, AK and made it a point to stop here after shopping at bass pro literally down the street. I was so excited, we love Toby Keith and the interior and exterior drew us in. When we arrived I looked up online and read that the restaurant didn't close until 12AM. I thought, perfect! It's only 9PM - we'll have plenty of time. We get in and there is no hostess at the hostess table so we sat there 'ooo'ing and awing' at the bar and FORD blue accent lights everywhere. When someone finally showed up, we sat down and she took our orders. The food was great and the drinks were too. However, at like 10PM, the waitress came back around saying they were closing and she ended up asking for payment. I was so bummed. I even checked their window again, and checked online again where the hours were displayed and it said 12AM still. I noticed they also kicked out a couple at the bar that were just casually drinking. We were the only other people there .. so you think they'd be okay with us just eating and chatting but they were more than ready to push us out 2 hours early. Overall - great food. Service is not very good - or polite. Looks like other reviews weren't too impressed either! Hopefully they turn this around!
I walked into the bar for a friend's party around 9pm and there was a fight going on. Upon entering, all the waitresses were standing around the podium in the front area with frowns on their faces. We weren't even greeted. We walked around for the bar aimlessly looking for a table because we had never been here before. Little did we know, we needed to be "sat" by a host and it wasn't open seating. We had to go back to the front and request a table. The girls were rude and didnt feel like helping us. It was like pulling teeth. I can understand the restaurant was busy for the fight, but there were workers standing around in bad moods. We've been sitting our table for 15 min with no service. One of our party went to go find a waitress and the grumpy girls up front told us they weren't serving anymore! What?! We went to find a random waitress to serve us and she was super nice. Her name is Britney. I'm glad she was nice enough to take care of us. But still...not giving this place a good review. Terrible customer service upon entering this place. Bad first impression.
Worst restaurant and service ever! Took almost an hour to seat us 4 adults, and 2 kids, yet the place was empty! The girls kept talking about how they didn't know where to put us cause we had "kids" like it was some sort of negative. We saw multiple tables open the entire time we were there and yet it wasn't till we pointed to one of them that they sat us at one. We waited an house for table that had been empty the entire time we were there!!!! Our waitress was alright, but she was working an entire section with 0 help, and clearing tables after people left. At one point she dropped some stuff on the floor and 2 of the other girls that worked there just watched her and laughed as she struggled to pick it up while not dropping all the other dirty dishes on the floor! Then when we finally got our food it was disgusting! The kids both ordered Mac n' Cheese and fries, and based on the pictures on the kids menu of Kraft Mac n' Cheese that is what we assumed we were getting...WRONG! What came out of some sort of alfredo cheese macaroni creation! Anyone who has kids would have known you don't fancy up kid's Mac N' Cheese! We were barely acknowledged during the whole meal, our waitress never asked how we were doing if we needed anything, or even brought us refills. When it came time for us to go, the girls wanted to tell the waitress they didn't like the Mac N' Cheese and she looked at us and said "Really, I don't need to hear it" to which I replied, "Well, they really want to tell you". We let her know the girls food was disgusting and that we were disappointed the menu shows Kraft Mac N' Cheese and she said "We normally serve the Kraft I don't know why they sent that out." Well, in the end at least she was kind enough to take the kids food off our bill. The icing on the cake though for my husband and family was that I asked her if they had a military discount my husband is in the Air Force and and she tells me NO!?!?!? Apparently, the only military discount is on one certain burger??? WTF??? How could a restaurant with Toby Keith's name on it not a honor our military with a small discount on their check at the end of their meal. My recommendation? NEVER EAT HERE! The service is terrible, the food is terrible, and worst is the fact that now every time I hear a Toby Keith song I am gonna have a horrible taste in my mouth. He needs to get his name off this place and FAST!!!! This place goes against everything he stands for...treating military and their families like trash....
My husband wanted to come for an early dinner on Father's Day. Restaurant was maybe 1/3 full and we waited at the bar for 20 minutes. After being seated the booth seats were all tore up and ratty we waited another 20 minutes before flagging down a waitress passing by- she said she worked the bar but would help us since they were short staffed. Food was OK. My cherry limeade drink tasted different each time I got it. I sent the second drink back and when the replacement came it did not taste like my first drink...hhmmm There were no paper towels in the ladies room either! We were all disappointed, especially "dad". I would not recommend dining here.
