What a horribly unethical dentist! I am in disbelief. I sent my husband for an exam and cleaning. His teeth are great, the dentist even said so herself. However they pushed everything on him from braces, advanced cleaning, a filler for his back molars, a sleep apnea study not covered by insurance, and even Botox?? They refused to do the cleaning covered by our insurance bc they wanted us to pay $100 out of pocket for “advanced” cleaning. Never in my life heard this and we’ve lived in 4 states and went through many dentists. This man has never had a cavity or dental issue in his life and all of the sudden needs thousands in work and can’t even get a basic cleaning. I cannot believe this place has good reviews when they are complete scam artists. Please be careful!
I’m not usually one to write reviews but everyone was SO kind and patient, it was genuinely such a positive experience. I felt so at ease with all the staff and the Dr, which is very important to me because I have an anxiety disorder. The waiting area is small and peaceful. I’m looking forward to future appointments here :
Office Manager needs to work on customer service skills. The Dental Tech did a great job with my dental cleaning.
I had an appointment at 2:00 for a general exam new patient and was told if I came in at 12:30 I could do the exam and routine cleaning back to back, rather than coming another day for the cleaning. The office was quick and I took a bite wing x-ray and spoke with the dentist right around 1. After waiting 15 minutes I was told that the hygienist was busy and I could wait 45 mins in the front lobby until 2:00. I was annoyed by that since I was working, but maybe just a miscommunication so whatever. I went home and worked for a little since I was nearby and came back at 2:00. After I came back for the cleaning and went to pay they notified me that they did a fluoride treatment and it was an extra $40 out of pocket. I mentioned several times that I just wanted a routine cleaning and even asked the front desk to check that my insurance covered what they were doing beforehand. The front desk said they meant to ask me if I wanted a fluoride treatment when I finished my initial exam, but it was never mentioned after the initial exam or when I came back for the cleaning. They said since they did the treatment they had to charge me $40. The dentist and hygienist were good, but the miscommunications and charging me $40 for something I didn't agree to is not acceptable. I've been to many dentists over the years and this is the first time that has ever happened.
Doctor seemed nice and capable, but admin staff was the worst I’ve ever seen. I was there 2 hours, at least 30-45 minutes longer than I should have been. Never did get a treatment plan, which they were writing out by hand. Really?? In 2022?? I’ve never seen a treatment plan that wasn’t computer generated, in color, and very easy to understand. Not sure if they’re just incompetent or grossly understaffed, but I won’t be going back. I spent a good deal of time sitting and waiting, I just don’t have time to sit around waiting for them to get to me.
Friendly and up to date with technology. As this was my initial visit it is too early to speak about treatment, etc. Second visit was delayed by CoVid19 shutdown, and with reading about recommended deep cleaning, I became convinced this was advisable treatment not mentioned by prior dentists. I conclude this is a particularly good dentist and helpful office whose focus is benefiting patients making trustworthy, reliable medical directions. Some other dentists somewhat have seemed to focus in areas with questionable health side results, perhaps acquiescing toward standard typical protocols, or commercial images: an issue with credibility for medicine, not just dentistry. In the 2nd year I changed dentists when my questions were dismissed. Perhaps this dentist struggled with a heavy load that limited the care. Initially there was a senior dentist who established the practice.
All the staff is wonderful, polite, kind, thoughtful, and sincerely appreciated. Professional clean welcoming environment I highly recommend Today’s Dentistry.
Awesome team. Got my cleaning and it was pain free
Great service , appointment is always on time , the staffs are friendly
This place amazing! The staff is really friendly and they make you feel welcome. I had an extraction done and it was completely painless. I hadn't been to a dentist in a long time and they never made me feel bad about it. I plan on going back for my routine care. Dr. Ford was awesome!!!
