Todd Mitchell Counseling provides individual, family & marriage counseling in the Conroe area.
For any questions about me, setting up an appointment, or public speaking engagements/seminars, please message me here or email me at: [email protected]
I promise to get back in touch with you within 24 hours, unless there is a family emergency.
While e-mail is usually the fastest way to reach me, my cell phone number is (936)203-4299, to make appointments.
IMPORTANT: If I do not answer my cell phone and this is a life or death situation, please hang up and call 911.
I do not keep regular office hours at my office, sessions are by appointment only. I am available for counseling Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday in the evenings and Saturday. I try to not take appointments on Thursdays and take none on Sundays. I take evening times up until 8pm for those who have to work during the day. I can also do Skype sessions any of these days.
Thank you for your interest. I look forward to speaking with you!

If your engine burns out, you take it to a mechanic.
If you have complicated taxes, you go to a CPA
If you have emotional or relationship problems… you try to handle them yourself.
We have all been through this “superman” phase in our lives when we believe that we can deal with those problems on our own, including me. At some point, we have to see that our failed efforts are getting us nowhere. A bottle of whiskey is far less effective than a session with a therapist. Just as a CPA is more qualified to keep you from being audited, a prefessional counselor should be more qualified to keep your mental state balanced. There is nothing wrong or shameful in going to experts in other fields. Why is psychology the exception? And how is that more shameful than staying in a disappointing life? You probably don’t need a counselor to choose what you have for dinner, because that is a small and simple decision (unless you’ve been to my house.) But you might when it comes to a bigger decision, like choosing a job, a spouse, or what your values will be. Go with the expert. Proverbs 15:22 says that “Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers, they succeed.” (NIV).
