In my opinion the food was okay kind of bland. The sauces eel, yum yum, ginger etc seem very watered down. We ordered several appetizers such as calamari, gyoza, shrimp tempura and some squid one #16. We also had 2 sushi rolls I believe the Volcano & another fried one. Along with hibachi nothing was like wow!! It totaled out to $165+. For the cost of the food I'd expect it to better quality and taste.
Dinner before Bible Study. We have tried to eat here several times in the past but we were always too early. Today worked out perfectly. I ordered the Chicken and Shrimp Hibachi and my wife ordered the Steak and Shrimp Hibachi. Our drinks came out followed by the Miso Soup. The salads came out as soon as we finished the soups. The Hibachi chef came out shortly after that. Very entertaining. Excellent cook. Everything was cooked to order exactly as we asked. This location is highly recommended!
Absolutely Phenomenal. All chefs are experienced. Our chef has 41 years of experience. Others 25, 15, & 19 years. Food was delicious & well prepared. Staff on point the whole time. Brought extra refills so our drinks would not go dry. Of you are local to Douglasville. This hibachi is a must.Dine in: YesTakeout: Yes
My first time here! I loved it! I had the steak and shrimp with rice and vegetables Hibachi!! Awesome!! Also, the plum brandy was delicious! I tried my fiancé’s strawberry Daiquiri very good as well, for desert a nice sherbet ice cream!
We had the best time yesterday ! We got there before the dinner rush and had the best chef. He was hilarious, and the food was amazing. Our server was also wonderful. He was quick and very polite, even while he was super busy with multiple tables by himself. We were very impressed and will be back!!
This picture pretty much speaks for itself. 2 people ordered Chicken and Shrimp and I ordered Shrimp and Calamari. I got 1 snall circle slab of calamari that didn't even taste like calamari and like 10 pieces of shrimp for $20.95. You would think if you're paying that much you'd get at least a decent sized serving considering that was my order, and not a half chicken half shrimp. Besides those 2 people, everyone else at the table got a little pieces of shrimp too. I got ripped. Do not go here. It is not worth it.
Celebrate my son's birthday & we ended up seated with a family who was out celebrating their son's 16th bday! Hibachi will bring you together! They both got chop sticks as a gift. Our servers were friendly & our food was great! We had a wonderful time. It's good to call first to get your name on the list if you're going on a Sunday! It may be a long wait but it's worth it!
We went on Monday night before Thanksgiving for a friend's birthday. The place was packed but they got us in quickly. Food was great, service was great. Cook was funny and engaging. Couple of folks had shellfish allergies so they prepared theirs in the kitchen but all came out accurately and in good order. Pretty impressive actually! Will go back!!
Isn't worth the price. The rolls are small, an the food wasn't good to me. This is how it looked when I got home a mess. Hot an cold food together. First time an last time for me.
Our family visited Daruma Japanese Steakhouse this evening not our first time and from beginning to end was unsatisfactory. First, took time for us to be seated, but nothing unusual, just annoying since they weren’t busy. Once we’re seated, it takes a good 30 minutes or more after we’ve finished with the soup and salad for the chef to come over to our table. He did a good job entertaining the 2 kids at the table and keeping everyone’s request straight. BUT I noticed the table beside us that was seated at least 20 minutes after us, their chef showed up in a timely fashion. Not only did the table beside us have quicker service , but also managed to be served the dessert portion of the meal well before our table, get their checks and pay and leave all the while we’re still waiting for dessert. And after all that when we finally receive our checks, the waitress takes all of our credit cards, goes off we assume to cash us out, to only return and start taking the order for the table next to us that has cleared out and now has a whole new group and doesn’t return our groups credit cards with the checks so we can sign and leave. It’s only then, we start complaining which seems to fall on deaf ears! In the end, the waitress gets an attitude because we’re all upset. WHAT??? We don’t play the race card often, but our table were only African Americans and the other table were Caucasians and the new group were Caucasians also. Needless to say, I will not go where I’m treated like this. Do better Daruma!!!
